I was lowkey hoping you would compare this movie to Everything Everywhere All at Once and you guys didn’t disappoint!
EEAAO tackled the multiverse concept so much better + the emotional scenes hits you so damn harder.

    • Dave Burk says:

EEAAO had some legit pacing issues. Also, SPOILER it was easy to guess the identity of the “villain” and the eventual reconciliation. That being said, it was nice seeing Michelle Yeoh, because it’s always a treat when she shows up.

    • Aryan Razdan says:

      it was a Terrible movie

    • D Z says:

@Carlos Delfín Oh, even if you know the basic story beats, EEAAO has so much more in it!

    • Dork Knight says:

NAH THAT MOVIE WAS A MESS ALSO

    • bubbledoubletrouble says:

@andrea_official The writers/directors are from Massachusetts and Alabama; the production companies are headquartered in New York, Los Angeles, and Houston; the lead actor is Malaysian; and the movie was filmed in Southern California. But please, keep on going about how it’s a Chinese movie and continue to show all of us your ignorance.

  2. Buttery Bros says:

Everything everywhere at once is better is the best line explaining this movie 😂😂

    • DaSaiyanTV says:

      @nahor88 average MCU blind fan

    • Jerry Berry says:

@nahor88 bruh watch it for yourself and find out. unless ur tryna to be the “oh look im different from most people” type of attention seeking edgelord

    • Jueru says:

@nahor88 you probably just watched weird anime then. Like any other medium, there a bunch of different genres.

P.S. Everything Everywhere All At Once is an American movie and 100% worth the watch.

    • jeri Ngatai says:

@nahor88 Battle Royale is better. Pretty sure it was filmed in the 90s. That movie existed before the books that you know the author plagiarised it. Even though she denies it.

    • Klaus Göpfert says:

@nahor88 the main characters are Asian but the movie is American

  3. Nicky Waters says:

Everything Everywhere All At Once was the multiverse movie we all needed. It was utter perfection & it explored the idea of the multiverse to insane lengths! By far my favourite movie this year👏

This HT made me realize that they could have had so much fun with the multiverse concept in this one (while keeping it simpler or more tidy in other projects). With a character who can open portals to other verses just like that, they could have done a Light/Dark side deal like in Zelda, could have had her bring in friends from each verse he’s been in, had her draw in characters she hadn’t met yet for a climactic battle, etc.

Just picture that last bit…instead of using Professor X for the Illuminati, he could have been part of the “no idea what’s going on” crew, and then he would do a quick mind read-and-share, and then one “we’ll do introductions later, let’s beat this bad guy” quip later we’d be off and running. Sigh, oh well.

  5. Sarah2Cold says:

I think I would have liked if they resolved the movie a bit differently. Instead of alt Wanda just saying “know they will be loved” I kind of wished they did a little more with that. Instead of just saying that, alt Wanda elaborated that she and all other versions of them dream just like 616 Wanda does and that every night while she dreams of them, they only dream of her. So they all know exactly what it’s like to lose it all. Making it that much more important to them to love their sons. They give her good dreams in exchange for her suffering. Turn her into a true hero who suffers so others don’t have to.

    • TechySeven says:

Interesting idea, and not a bad one at all, but I don’t think that the way they did was really too all that terrible.
Ending it how they did seemed to ensure that she felt the necessary guilt & consequences, borne of her evil actions, enough to redeem herself & prevent it re-occurring.

But my gripe is that I personally think the whole Entire ‘dream-of-alt-universes’ aspect was a bit silly, and maybe even not well-thought-out, and far too disconnected from reality to seem believable enough. Most people dream multiple times every night, and most quickly forget their dreams, but not everyone dreams or ever remembers them at all.
And most peoples’ average standard dreams are far too oddball (& not coherent enough) to truly feel like a workable alternate universe in itself.

    • Dave P says:

      Nice.

    • Tom Ansell says:

      You’re agenius

    • Leon S Kennedy says:

True hero? After all she done

    • UHFStation1 says:

      Very interesting take.

  6. Okay Yaramanoglu says:

I wish you had pointed out how the writers thought they were so clever by titling the film Multiverse of Madness because it spells out MOM, but they were really not because that makes the full title “Doctor Strange in the mom”. 🤦‍♂️

  7. Shubham Kumar says:

5:04 This scene made me laugh so much. Like this scene was so jarringly exposition it felt like I should be taking notes or something.

  8. Anestis Koktsidis says:

Man, I love the roast on this one, everything is on point. And the “sorcerer supreme…’s assistand regional manager” joke was epic!!!

  9. William Mbongolwane says:

No seriously, can we talk about how consistently nerfed Dr Strange has been getting with every movie he appears in?

  10. Alpha-Omega says:

Honestly I agree, growing up being a big fan of the X-Men and original fantastic four franchise, I’m also concerned about how the MCU will handle these characters.
