I still like “Return of the Jedi” most of the original trilogy. Sue me.

Sadly, that’s not how Lawyers work.

    • John Hooyer says:

The third act is simply amazing. Luke is a deeper character than ever, Vader a more engaging character than ever, and I have sisters, so the revelation that Leia was Luke’s sister meant a lot to me. Also, the Emperor was an awesome villain (and he got even better in Episodes I-III), and Victory Celebration is freaking amazing.

Take away Ewoks put Wookies and actually proper guerrilla warfare, this can be the best 3rd installment ever made. Come on, that space battle was epic, Jedi duel, all the hate and conflict was awesome.

Return of the Jedi was the most fun I had in the original trilogy ☺️ others were great too!

  13. It's BeeRay says:

I think Victory Celebration is far better than Yub Nub. One of the few positive changes Lucas made. The beauty of Star Wars is that it’s timeless in every aspect. You could make the old movies the exact same way today and they’d never feel like films from the 70s and 80s. The music doesn’t sound like it belongs to any particular era…well, except for Yub Nub which sounds like the intro song to a bad 80s cartoon about talking African animals.

    • LateToTheParty7 says:

I agree about the song change. Victory Celebration seemed far more in-line with a memorial type celebration while the Yub Nub song was more in line with the kid friendly (i.e. merchandising) aspects of he movie.

    • Just a Youtube Lover says:

I was part of the generation that watched the original trilogy after the revision (had thought the prequels came first because the OT was made so freaking well), and I didn’t know there were a different version of this until I saw this video. And upon hearing the original, thank GOD they changed it.

    • LucianCanad says:

Well this didn’t take long to find. I’m pleasantly surprised.

And yeah, I completely agree. Like Just a YouTube Lover, I watched episode VI with the special edition changes, so I had no idea the ending song had been changed. And John Williams forgive me, but Yub Nub is just silly.

    • Yayo' Ariowibowo says:

LucianCanad It was actually written by his son, before being converted to Ewokese or whatever language the small freaks that no one killed in the OG Battlefront 2 speak.
