I know this video is about anime villains, BUT the same thing would happen in Power Rangers ALL OF THE TIME! Remember whenever there would be the 6th ranger/extra ranger/evil ranger that eventually joined the team?
They’d defeat opponents the entire team couldn’t defeat as a group, have super speed, be stronger than the core ranger team and have an awesome zord. However, after joining the team it made them get depowered so much that it was ridiculous…
🤣 I know right the 6th ranger beats all 5 at once and have their own super mega-zord and doesn’t have to share It but once he joins them he gets beat all day long

The Lunar Wolf Ranger (Merrick Baliton) from Wild Force comes to mind. After Zen Aku’s evil spirit finds rest after molly-whomping the team for half the season Merrick doesn’t do anything except gets one-shot every episode. lol

This reminded me of how good Avatar was with Zuko’s character. He lost his bending for a bit after joining Team Avatar, but then he had his moment and came out stronger. It made him a better fire bender and allowed him to fight against his sister without getting bodied.
Not tryna be that guy but he still got outsmarted by azula which is pretty inane ngl.😄
