Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family — and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves — Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!”

Goodbye Bernie. We’ll miss you. She’s isn’t you Bernie, but we’ll make do.

  2. Paulhorne Schillings says:

Was expecting Colbert to revel in watching Bernie lose, was not surprised
    at all.

Bernie didn’t promise “everything we wanted”; he proposed a greater focus
on fixing our crumbling bridges and roads to generate jobs, and heavily
taxing the rich for the sake of making higher education more financially
accessible to account for how much college tuition costs have risen. Nobody
who voted for Bernie actually expected a free ride if he got elected,

What a gross oversimplification. Enjoy your Millennial demographic ratings
    drop, Colbert.

  5. Adrian Elias says:

Funny how people seem surprised it’s between Crooked Hillary and Trump. I
predicted that outcome literally months ago. I also predicted that enough
people hate Hillary to not vote for her, thus the 45th president of the
United States will go to Donald J. Trump.

  6. Zachary Roberts says:

Well.. America is fucked, but at least we’ll always have Bernie’s fire
    mixtape from the 80’s.

  7. Djobo Kuwali says:

The fuck? What Bernie is advocating is as far left as REPUBLICANS in the
50s. The political system has gotten so inconceivably capitalistic that
merely suggesting living wages return to levels that the U.S. once saw is
    considered impossible!

  8. Rock Golem says:

4:09 oh Colbert. You know just what to say when I’m literally going to tell
everyone I can to murder Hillary Clinton. …I’m still going to do that but
now I’ll be happier while doing it. Knowing that even after I go to jail
there will still being someone who sees Hillary as the monster she is.
