Glad you discovered those cheap, rubbery bubble balloons! I was born in 1978 and they were very popular when I was a kid. I will still buy them every now and then at the dollar store! I love mixing the colors together!! And I actually like that slightly toxic smell!
I was also born in the late 70’s and I was not allowed to play with these because my folks said they were toxic. I would have tried to eat them!
I will certainly be on the lookout for them now that I know better

We got to enjoy the halcyon days of carefree youth with no home computers, no cellphones, and now we get to enjoy our middle years with the convenience of the internet age. I am so thankful I was not burdened with this internet when we were kids. As much as I love it now, I feel like it would have robbed me when I was a kid. I would not have spent so much time roller skating down my sidewalk, or building fortresses out of sticks, rocks, and moss, on the hills by my house if I had a computer to log into. But I digress.
