The bees were not angry because they can only set of a chain reaction if the one you hit stays alive to send the message. The mechanic is the same for zombie piglins

When a shulker is hit by a shulker bullet it has a chance of teleporting away and be replaced with a new one
As the snow golems shoot them they will try to shoot the golems but the only avalable way is behind and it will always hit the shulker
It is important to have a replacement because if you are not lucky it might kill the shulker before it gets replaced
That is the explanation ^^
I know that you’ve already beaten the game and completed every achievement and that it’s quite easy to become bored when you’ve reached the top and can’t go any higher.. But PLEASE don’t stop the Hardcore series! It’s so entertaining and still very enjoyable! They always make my day. Keep up the great work! 🙂👍

I think the bees needed some time to get angry on you because you one-shot all the bees you hit so they couldn’t warn the others.
