Intel is in trouble. AMD’s 3rd gen Ryzen 3000 series consumer processors, 64 core EPYC server processors, and vastly-improved mobile CPUs are going to be putting a lot of pressure on them.. but is it too good to be true??

That is actually impressively clear audio for filming on a busy street.
I mean based on how much money he invests in recording tech is respectable
It’s linus’s vocals he has a saprano voice that just peaks at the audible peak and cancels out alot of higher frequencies
RED
The mic is superb, I agree.
I loved your walk around Taipei! The change of setting was really interesting. Thanks!
He did a similar video about Intel as well, about 2 years ago

Wait I thought Linus was my financial advisor all this time, guess my financial advisor is now Dennis.
Can I kindly ask you to subscribe to our channel?

One of the greatest Segways
Segue. Segway is a company name based off of the word segue.
+weinerschnitzelboy embarrassing! I never knew that word existed (segue) until segways existed.
I know right? I was really thinking he’d lead into one of his food sponsorships, like the jerky or energy drinks.
The real question is should you buy AMD stock, or AMD overclocked?
Yes
Asking the real questions.
This is not even close to funny

Hope it will not dissappoint as Jon Snow’s arc though…

Is Linus just flexing on other tech channels by producing a mainstream media sound/video quality video while walking around on the street? Good stuff Linus!
yeah.. i feel refreshed when he just walks and talks about some of the upcoming stuff.. he did the same with Intels latest CPU chips a few years back and it is refreshing like we are just walking around talking about what we love
Sunlight?!
HISS!
JayzTwoCents is not intimidated at all
audio, yes. but the wobbly video makes we want to puke 😀
+K1ngjulien_ Crossing the street _s l o w l y_ while walking backwards was oddly unnerving too.
The last time anything this interesting happened in the CPU generations was literally a decade ago. FINALLY WOOHOO!
now I’m hyped.
Seems like to be more or less a constant (plus minus a couple of years) in the cpu industry lately. Early 1990s – Intel Pentium; ~2000ish – AMD 64bit; ~2010ish – Intel Multicores; ~2020ish – AMD Zen2
youre.. crazy amounts of wrong…
+cdreid9999 Great, then enlighten us! (BTW I do know that i cherry picked dates but sure go ahead and criticize other people without providing anything else)
Nope, it was in 2017 when Zen and AM4 platform got released, and kicked the same performance as Intel’s enthusiast processors FOR HALF THE PRICE
I already love Ryzen for what it’s worth. Having ECC support on everything is a nice flexibility.
AMD: “I’ve come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, but I’m all out of bubblegum”
*releases Ryzen 3000 series equipment*
Omg……Borderlands 😛
+E.V.X it’s actually from a lootttt of things. One of the earliest recorded sayings of that, is John Carpenters film, “They Live” in 1988
+E.V.X youire showing your age, or lack of 😉
THIS VIDEO will definitely impact sales
Not to mention the ever growing list of chip flaws Spectre, Meltdown, Zombieland…

Spoiler
Zombies aren’t real they said
well that’s good, I bought 150 Shares of AMD last week. Thank you for the confidence boost.
Simply Nonsense You’re listening to a guy that just spewed a bunch of theoretical BS with no proof of anything to back it. How on earth is that a confidence boost? Did you notice how everything was preceded by “might” or “may” or “up to?” None of this has actually happened, and for god knows what reason he thinks that multi core performance is more important and useful than single, which is obscenely far from true. Sounds like you shouldn’t be doing your own investing.
+Conor … I mean, I was just leaving a comment man. I’ve been trading for years dude… sorry I offended you I guess?
Simply Nonsense Okay, so what makes you think AMD is well positioned? You response didn’t address a single thing I mentioned.
Conor you shorting AMD or something? I sure as hell would buy AMD over Intel. I’d also be far more likely to trust the opinion of a fairly unbiased enthusiast PC hardware reviewer than some fucko analyst working for a big bank who couldn’t tell ARM from x86

6:04 … honestly i thought you were just gently caressing that thing hahaha.
Like “oh yeah, new tech… mmmmh”
Intel: I dominated the processor market for over a decade!
AMD: Hold my thermal paste
BUUUUT MY AMD K6 with 3dnow! and Athlon k7 Thunderbird. I hear the same merchandise yadda yadda every year for 20 years now… AMD ist way better and developed a intel killer cpu…
WHY PCIE4? its already obsolete!
Lol, intel dominate cause they are most stable and they are less costly to operate. Also, chipsets are way better on the Intel side. All this will not change with the next gen as from mid-range to high-range, AMD will take twice the amount of power for the same clock-by-clock performance. Nobody seems to care about usage cost. you save 30$ on the cpu to pay 150$ more in electricity during the year and you call that cheaper, hahaha.
+Pat _ You are kidding, right? Seriously, how stupid are you?
pls use a gibmal next time 😉 – still nice location though ^^

Linus: *walking backwards while talking to camera*
Bush: *exists*
Speaking of conflicts of interest: that advice from MSI ?
How am I supposed to trust someone who walks backwards on a bike lane?
