Doesn’t really matter. If your question is to imply that someone is outside even the pretense of law and justice if they hold some particular office powerful enough; that’s not how justice systems work. Nobody is immune to the intention of justice being done even if there isn’t a practical way to accomplish it in the moment. It also makes it easier to force him out in a revolution or coup, since the question of what is to be done with him now has a clean and tidy answer. Turn him over to the ICC. Putin’s life is now a little more dangerous.

As a father of three children…… I would spit out the sun if it dare to shine on my children wrong. If I were dead and my children needed me. I would fall from Heaven or crawl out of hell to be at their side. No Force conceived or imagined would keep me from them. Russia be damned. Slavo Ukraine!!!!!🇺🇦

Ivan, a lot of us know exactly who Maria Lvova-Belova is. Not only is she an orchestrator of this war crime, she’s also a participant, “adopting” a 15 yr old boy from Mariupol. He’s just one of the 18 she’s adopted. Please do an information piece on her so that more Americans can understand what is going on here. I think its also worth mentioning that Russia is still a Tier 3 country under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA). Meaning, Russia is a country who does not enforce any trafficking laws, nor enacts any and practically encourages the abuse of children. Absolutely none of this is by accident or incidental. Americans need to understand this war crime better, look at the REPLIES.

The ICC has no police force and require member nations to enforce its warrants. However, member nations have been reluctant to enforce ICC warrants especially on national leaders or top government officials due to potential diplomatic issues and escalation in conflict.

As impotent as this may seem at the moment, officially identifying civilisation-level crimes and criminals is profound and fundamental framing for policy and the historical record.

America passed the Hague Invasion Act and afaik it hasn’t been repealed so we probably don’t consider the ICC’s opinion very highly.
