Incredibles 2 – Olympics Sneak Peek

The Incredibles are back on June 15. 💥 Watch a brand-new sneak peek of Incredibles 2 now!

Disney/Pixar’s Incredibles 2 opens in theatres June 15!

In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

    Lucius: Where’s my super suit?
    Honey: What?
Lucius: Where – is – my – super – suit?
Honey: I, uh, put it away.
    Lucius: *Where*?
Honey: *Why* do you *need* to know?
    Lucius: I need it!
Honey: Uh-uh! Don’t you think about running off doing no derring-do. We’ve been planning this dinner for two months!
Lucius: The public is in danger!
    Honey: My evening’s in danger!
Lucius: You tell me where my suit is, woman! We are talking about the greater good!
Honey: ‘Greater good?’ I am your wife! I’m the greatest *good* you are ever gonna get!

So the movie is about a man who’s miserable because a female character is successful? Hm… I wonder where Pixar got the inspiration from?

Did you watch the trailer at all? Its about a father over coming the struggles of parenting with little to no experience

Perhaps there is a feminist agenda or perhaps there isn’t either way I think it sends a positive message.

He said “I need to be succeed, so she can be succeed, so *we* can be succeed.” That is a message of support then we have a father who has little experience in childcare which not only adds humor but says though men may struggle they are equally capable parents which many courts will argue which is why during a divorce the mother is often first choice to place the children and though there probably won’t be a lot of screen time for her we will see a woman portrayed as a strong independent woman which doesn’t hurt anyone and I think it’s important to remember success comes in many shapes and forms success in school, work life, home life etc I’m personally excited to see Bob handle the role of carer because usually dad’s do the funniest things a concept I think they plan on portraying in here and the movie portrays parenting as a ‘heroic act’ parents and parenting often go underappreciated we never put thought into the struggles something I think the film will shine a light on

I’m not here to start a fight but to present a different view for you to look at it from

Yay can’t wait to see an animated stay at home dad struggle with parenting what’s new?

  8. Ant-Man Is Inside Your Computer says:

If the word ‘honey’ and ‘supersuit’ aren’t used in the same sentence in this movie then it’s a missed opportunity

  12. Tucker Xay says:

I was really hoping for a time skip

    • Jason Jampsh says:

Tucker Xay I know! A lot more potential there than this

    • Brian G. says:

Why were you hoping that? Didn’t you see the end of the first movie? It basically shows you what the 2nd movie is going to be about.

    • B4DA$$ says:

Brian G. The end of the first was more ambiguous as i remember it so no. I wasnt even expecting the mole dude to come back cause he looked too lame to carry a plot as a villain.

    • Jerrwie says:

Brian G. If you’re talking about the underminer, that was made into a game. That plot isn’t going to be explored much here, maybe just a quick 10 min intro to the movie

  13. JayJayRiley says:

I think people were missing the point of the first Incredibles. The film wasn’t great because of the fight scenes or cool superpowers it was really cool don’t get me wrong. However the film is great because of the realistic/relatable family dynamic that the film presents so well. I suggest some of the haters to go back and rewatch the original to remember what made Incredibles great.

    • Leland211st says:

      JayJayRiley THANK YOU

    • Nathan Haskew says:

JayJayRiley oh no, I completely agree with you–but what made all the family moments good was how surprisingly grounded and relatable they were. This was all just jokes about stay at home dads, and that’s just not enough

    • Alex McBride says:

Nathan Haskew I’m guessing that those jokes are mostly for the trailer right now to get people’s interest. The movie itself will hopefully have more of what you’re talking about.

    • infernity able says:

The plot of this movie so far seems to completely ignore the message and growth of the characters from the end of the first movie. What would rewatching the first movie do besides reinforce and reaffirm that sentiment?

  14. The King of Nerds says:

The most INCREDIBLE thing about this movie is, *what took them so long to make it!?*
And why isn’t it out yet?

  15. Sam Ancelotti says:

    Wowww

  16. NububuChan says:

“Why would they change MATH?!” 😂 And Bob called Frozone for backup with Jack-Jack! This is gonna be GREAT 😂👌

  17. Prison Mike says:

i thought the whole point of the first movie was him being satisfied with family life ? why bring up the same dilemma if hes already overcome it? it diminishes the worth of the first film

    • ArjunInsane says:

Prison Mike Well you were in prison. But… hmm mm..

    • scorcher444 says:

The Jesus Christ Supers were pretty much brought back at the end of the first film though. At the end of the film they showed the populace the good that supers can accomplish, and the whole city cheered for them, the government thanked them, and they were suiting up to fight the underminer in the ending

    • Dennis Reynolds says:

It isn’t that he was satisfied with it. The first film is him realising that it’s what he wants. Now he’s understanding how hard it is. Two totally different concepts and it baffles me that 80 or so people agreed with this without thinking about it first

    • Tesla Rodriguez says:

he wanted the family life but never realized how hard the family life is. now with the switch, he has to re-think what he wants.
