I gotta admit that this showcase was pretty cool. Omori coming to the Switch really surprised me as well!

  2. PowerPanda says:

Alisha, Sea of Stars, and Olli Olli World are now on my hype list. Figment looks like a really interesting concept, but the character seems like they’re moving underwater!

  3. LovelessDogg says:

Sea of Stars combat literally just Chrono Trigger. I can dig it.

    • Zack's chilling says:

Yeah that worm thing was very Lavos-esqe, still looks amazing!

    • Alex Denton says:

I’m so hyped. The Messenger was incredible, so I can’t wait to see how they do with this

    • Brayan Miranda says:

every parent should buy Sea of Stars to their children. the game Looks like a core memory

    • PuraPurin says:

dude, even the chrono trigger composer is there

    • Julia Pirani says:

Literally every turn based RPG should have the Chrono or Paper Mario style, or else just be an SRPG. It’s always astounding to me that most RPGs still use a combat system designed for the technical limits of now almost 50 years ago. It’s so lazy.
More engaging styles can always offer the same level of strategy but they’re also just unambiguously better.

  4. Alan Taylor says:

Sea of Stars looks fantastic! I loved The Messenger, so this is awesome.

  5. Mikey M :D says:

I was talking with my friends about this Direct at lunch and we were sharing predictions. I jokingly went “lmao what if they finally ported Don’t Starve Together to Switch?”
needless to say, when it actually popped up, I almost screamed with glee.

@Sans The Skeleton holy macaroni the duality of a man, saying ddlc has better job at warning ppl when the game caught of guard everyone with its cute anime waifu dating sim vibes with underlying horror. Atleast u could have kept ur consistency, mister.

    • Tim Smith says:

      Shush

    • Wakkadodle says:

@Sans The Skeleton Ah yes, Omori is tricking kids into playing it DESPITE having a literal warning before starting it. It’s not bad, it’s just your twitter argument.

    • Namliler says:

@Sans The Skeleton This game should indeed exist. As a person with almost the same amount of symptoms with their mental illness as Sunny portrays, OMORI is the most accurate depiction of mental health issues I have ever seen. This is a good example and portrayal of how people who struggle with this kind of stuff feel and think. Most of the game is literally Sunny IN A DREAM that ACTS AS HIS COPE. The game should exist because it can be made clear how actually bad this stuff is and how people need to be more serious about this and not cast it off as _”They’ll be fine by tomorrow.”._

    • Billy Manziel says:

delete this. no one needs it and its wrong. Nintendo added timestamps in the video.

  7. Frank hahah says:

Omori reveal was so good. Them saying it was the end then just saying “but wait, there’s one more” was great. The chat went insane

  8. Stephen Allred says:

Honestly, teared up when Omori came on. That game is heartbreaking. An absolute must play.

  9. T Bartja says:

Glad to hear everyone is stoked for Omori. I’m mildly chuffed about it as a Kickstrater backer who has been waiting for it – or any concrete idea of when the switch port would be ready – for ages and wish I didn’t have to hear more from an Indie Showcase rather than straight through Omocat, but such is life. I genuinely am happy a finish line is on the horizon and that it got this attention to ensure it’s even more successful.

  10. whathe says:

This was one of the BEST Nintendo indie direct video I’ve seen! Every single game looks AMAZING!
