I gotta admit that this showcase was pretty cool. Omori coming to the Switch really surprised me as well!
@I’ll See Ya’ on the Dark Side of the Moon some people dont have one
@I’ll See Ya’ on the Dark Side of the Moon some people want to play on a handheld (including those who’ve already played it on PC). It definitely feels at home on a Nintendo system
@Aggu u have a switch but not a pc?
@Max Kysl Tell me you haven’t played or seen the game without telling me you haven’t played or seen the game.
I WAS SCREAMING
Alisha, Sea of Stars, and Olli Olli World are now on my hype list. Figment looks like a really interesting concept, but the character seems like they’re moving underwater!
All of does were announced long time ago.
This was just another waste of time
silksong 🤡
@OddRocker Ristyo *those
Also, only Olli Olli World was previously announced for Switch.
Alisha definitely looks like my cup of tea and a Switch exclusive is always welcome
@banana daily 🤡
Sea of Stars combat literally just Chrono Trigger. I can dig it.
Yeah that worm thing was very Lavos-esqe, still looks amazing!
I’m so hyped. The Messenger was incredible, so I can’t wait to see how they do with this
every parent should buy Sea of Stars to their children. the game Looks like a core memory
dude, even the chrono trigger composer is there
Literally every turn based RPG should have the Chrono or Paper Mario style, or else just be an SRPG. It’s always astounding to me that most RPGs still use a combat system designed for the technical limits of now almost 50 years ago. It’s so lazy.
More engaging styles can always offer the same level of strategy but they’re also just unambiguously better.
Sea of Stars looks fantastic! I loved The Messenger, so this is awesome.
Yea but still 1 y of waiting..
Honestly, I find it funny that a turn-based RPG is the prequel to a platformer. Lol.
Both games look cool to me tho (Even as someone who isn’t super into platformers). 🙂
I was talking with my friends about this Direct at lunch and we were sharing predictions. I jokingly went “lmao what if they finally ported Don’t Starve Together to Switch?”
needless to say, when it actually popped up, I almost screamed with glee.
Ngl I thought it was already on switch
@CoolBread DS + Hamlet are on switch. But not DST. (shipwrecked comes with the original game on the switch)
@CoolBread same
I was already happy with don’t starve together being ported, and then, when I was finally ready to move on, Omori slapped me in the face.
I was scrolling through the direct seeing nothing I knew about, then suddenly DST. I’m so excited, but a little surprises that such a good game coming so soon to switch only gets a few seconds
*TIMESTAMPS*
Edit: originally the video had ~30 minutes of empty space at the beginning but Nintendo edited it. I will edit this comment with corrected timestamps when I have time.

@Sans The Skeleton holy macaroni the duality of a man, saying ddlc has better job at warning ppl when the game caught of guard everyone with its cute anime waifu dating sim vibes with underlying horror. Atleast u could have kept ur consistency, mister.
Shush
@Sans The Skeleton Ah yes, Omori is tricking kids into playing it DESPITE having a literal warning before starting it. It’s not bad, it’s just your twitter argument.
@Sans The Skeleton This game should indeed exist. As a person with almost the same amount of symptoms with their mental illness as Sunny portrays, OMORI is the most accurate depiction of mental health issues I have ever seen. This is a good example and portrayal of how people who struggle with this kind of stuff feel and think. Most of the game is literally Sunny IN A DREAM that ACTS AS HIS COPE. The game should exist because it can be made clear how actually bad this stuff is and how people need to be more serious about this and not cast it off as _”They’ll be fine by tomorrow.”._
delete this. no one needs it and its wrong. Nintendo added timestamps in the video.
Omori reveal was so good. Them saying it was the end then just saying “but wait, there’s one more” was great. The chat went insane
Yeah, because they all thought it was going to be Silksong.
Honestly, teared up when Omori came on. That game is heartbreaking. An absolute must play.
Honestly, cringed when Omori came on. That game is a travesty. An absolute must play for the mentally ill.
@derp. …I hope you’re a bait channel. Because it isn’t. Seriously.
@derp. as a mentally ill person i can agree this is a must play
@Jesse von Eagalia he complains in the comments on smash ultimate videos, he’s probably baiting or being immature
@Yeestlet yeah probably
Glad to hear everyone is stoked for Omori. I’m mildly chuffed about it as a Kickstrater backer who has been waiting for it – or any concrete idea of when the switch port would be ready – for ages and wish I didn’t have to hear more from an Indie Showcase rather than straight through Omocat, but such is life. I genuinely am happy a finish line is on the horizon and that it got this attention to ensure it’s even more successful.
Same, I remember back when a 3DS port was part of the goals lol
Omori’s actually been out on PC since Christmas of last year. Just thought you should know if ya wanna play it 🙂
@Caleb Valdez I’m sure they know. As they said, they were a Kickstarter backer.
This was one of the BEST Nintendo indie direct video I’ve seen! Every single game looks AMAZING!
