Not many actors can maintain your attention by themselves for an entire film. Defoe is one of those rare actors.
Cap! Tyler perry can make a movie all by himself as Madea and I’d watch it 💯
Lighthouse is the last film I have seen him in. I saw it on the recommendation of my very good friend. Someone I have known 40 years. When you have known someone for 40 years you have known them long enough to have been around when either yourself or they have been insane or close to it.
When Dafoe is in it, then you know it’s going to be a good movie.

I love isolation movies and this looks like it’ll be an interesting one. William Defoe just makes it that much more encouraging to watch.
If You like isolation Films (and such); may I but quickly recommend Into the Woods, Open Grave, A Lonely Place to Die, along with The Survivalist.. …
