Save earth or leave it. Watch #IO on #Netflix January 18, 2019.
Sam, one of the last survivors on a post-cataclysmic Earth, is a young scientist dedicated to finding a way for humans to adapt and survive, rather than abandon their world. But with the final shuttle scheduled to leave the planet for a distant colony, her determination to stay is rocked by the arrival of another survivor, Micah. She must decide whether to journey with him to join the rest of humanity and begin life anew, or stay to fight for Earth’s survival. IO stars Margaret Qualley, Anthony Mackie, and Danny Huston and premieres January 18, 2019 only on Netflix.

Liam Winter Jericho was a fantastic show. I also need to watch revolution, I’ve been hesitant as it was also cancelled after 1 season

    • busninessman123 says:

StefanieAnn78 lol. It is odd how many post apocalyptic and apologetic movies Netflix has been making in just the last year. However post apocalyptic movies have been going on from before I was born..

  10. American Guy says:

Hopefully it doesn’t have a crappy ending like most Netflix movies

    • American Guy says:

Penske Material well if you have a few in mind that have a proper ending, please let me know. No sarcasm, I’d like to know .

    • Penske Material says:

+American Guy sure thing. These are some originals I’ve enjoyed. If you watch any, you could come back here and let me know what you thought.

“I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore”

      “The Meyerowitz Stories”

      “The Fundamentals of Caring”

      “The Ritual”

      “Beasts of No Nation”

      “The Night Comes for Us”

      “First They Killed my Father”

“Cam”[OK, this one just feels like a longer Black Mirror episode, maybe it has that thing you say where at the ending things aren’t explained well lol, but I still enjoyed it]

“The Package”[this one received a lot of hate but I found it funny, the humor is juvenile but still, I liked it]

And there are a few more, I just can’t remember now. Maybe you’ve seen some of these, but to me those were Netflix originals that went from enjoyable to actual good movies.

    • American Guy says:

Penske Material hey, thanks a lot for the suggestions ! I’ll let you know what I think

    • Penske Material says:

+American Guy cool. Let me know, hopefully you’ll enjoy at least a couple of those. And I also can’t believe I didn’t add “Calibre” maybe you’ve seen that one since it’s very popular in sites like Reddit, but if you haven’t check it out too.

    • American Guy says:

Penske Material I’ll be in touch bro. Thanks for the movie nods. ??

  19. Luis says:

Earth is toxic so we’ll all go to IO it only has a toxic sulfur dioxide atmosphere…makes sense ?

    • Myinternetsux 1 says:

Luis plot armor I’m sure it’ll be a paradise in this film

    • MynameisBEYONDyourComprehension says:

      Jacob Larson says who??
      Please prove your statement

    • Liam Corbett says:

+Jacob Larson It’s not a question of creating a new atmosphere, it’s a question of shielding yourself from the natural environment. It’s extremely unlikely that we could ever cause enough damage to the earth’s atmosphere to make it reasonable to travel to and live on Io, one of the most hellish places in the solar system. Earth will pretty much always be the easiest place to survive in the solar system.

    • Myinternetsux 1 says:

Liam Corbett except for earth x

    • Dylan Rowland says:

I agree. I understand scifi movies push it sometimes, but sometimes they do a great job of looking into the unknown.. and other times they kinda go too far lol. When they blindly go too far it weakens the movie…

Creating a moving city that constantly stays on Mercury’s dark side wouldve been a less stupid idea

  20. Maximilan Tontsch says:

I really don’t want to be the boo man, but Io as the most volcanicly active place in the solar system with an sulphur dioxide rich athmosphere doesn’t seem to be that better compared to what earth is like in the trailer…
