No one deserves to be mistreated, regardless of whether they served or not. This man suffered so that others wouldn’t have to, yet it still happens in our own country.

  2. ahloke cafe says:

Yes salute and respect this man and Asians, American Asians, black, africancs or any other race.

  3. Chen Hali says:

‘Hey, NBC ” this “Asian American Official” has a name, and not highlighting Mr. Wong’s name was lacking the RESPECT in which he earned and deserves. Shame on You.

    • Jay Moto says:

His name is American. American before Wong. That’s what he trying to say.

    • mik3ymomo says:

All they care about is tribal BS. Merit, character determining who we are now all out the window. Now people are just skin color and ethnic features. Absolutely racist by definition. Adolph got his wish. Everyone is looked at by their skin color and ethnic heritage… for better or worse.

    • The Second Initiate says:

@Jay Moto Oh so his NAME is actually Asian American! is he cousins with Johnny English?

    • Scott N says:

@D Large It should be in the title not the description. Labeling someone by their race instead of their name is racist. No different than when Hitler labeled the “Jews” as “Jews”

    • Scott N says:

@Jay Moto He never implied his “name” was American. No.

  4. Mich Leo says:

Thank you my older American brother from a younger sister who also served in our military. It makes me sad that discrimination still exists because humans choose to stay ignorant and full of fear instead of educating and understanding each. You are a human with great courage. Peace and love to you

  5. George B. Wolffsohn says:

Listening to this man is making me cry! America needs to come up to HIS level of patriotism.

  6. AliEvaMari says:

I think this man is more of a patriot than I, born in America, am. You deserve the utmost respect, sir.
“We need to be kinder, gentler to each other because we are all the same.”
    All humans deserve respect. Period.

  7. Arc162128 Granny100 says:

This man deserves the upmost respect. His loyalty and commitment to his country should never be doubted because of the way he looks. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇮🇳

  8. MrCaddy775 says:

As a fellow American, I thank him for his service. As an African American, I say good luck to your community. We’ve been barking up that tree for 500 years.

  9. ReggaeEli says:

“Service to all people, because our strengths lie in our unique differences; and we must embrace it, cause there is no other way forward”

  10. Ravi Jain says:

No words!! the guy did not lose his cool and suppressed the rage within! He could have said many more things but chose to be a gentleman.
