I’ve come to learn that there is nothing genuine about a celebrity apologizing publicly.

  2. Drumpfisidiot says:

Props to the owner for standing up for his staff.

    • shrew says:

@gulf city nicholas danca insulting? What was so insulting?

    • Tim Anderson says:

Seems like he is the nicest guy in the world. Seems like the restaurant owner looking for attention

    • Drumpfisidiot says:

@Jimmy Dishkawnt I’m loving that you’re so butthurt but I’ll humor you. So as an officer, my oath of office compels me to give a lawful order. Those receiving my order have an obligation to follow lawful orders. If they follow that given order they are subject to UCMJ…you actually sound like you barely graduated highschool friend. Also, just to rub it in a bit, this is the second branch I’ve served in. I was an NCO in the USMC and commissioned as an officer in the Army in 2019.

    • Jimmy Dishkawnt says:

@gulf city nicholas danca aah a woke ‘pretend cook’ spotted. Go get em boy

  3. Ash Baker says:

He’s trying to come across as though he’s being accountable while emphasising her severe allergy, and minimising what he said/did.

If I was severely allergic to egg whites, I highly doubt I would risk ordering eggs in any form in a restaurant.

    • dd says:

If she’s highly allergic she couldn’t have yolk because it once touched white.

    • Eddie K says:

Cross contamination between white and yellow will always occur. If anyone is allergic, the risk is monumental for them because it’s almost impossible to separate them conclusively. Also, if they’re allergic on part of the egg, they would still be allergic to the other. This is so lame.

  4. Thomas Griffing says:

It would be different if this was a one off, everyone has a bad moment. But he has a history of this type of behavior.

  5. Chocolabtastic Smith says:

There have been stories like this about this guy for years. It’s not a huge surprise.

    • Gorb says:

@babbotunde Ding ding! We have a winner. When you have an egg white allergy you’re generally advised to avoid eggs altogether because it’s basically impossible to completely separate them.

    • Gorb says:

@Tim Owen That’s still no excuse for being rude or abusive to the waitstaff. They’re not the ones who prepare the food. If you have a serious allergy to a certain kind of food, then perhaps you should try to order something that’s either easy to prepare without whatever it is you’re allergic to, or something that won’t trigger said allergy at all.

  6. Zander Sutton says:

You could apologize, or you could go on a 5 minute monologue about how you think you’re not in the wrong.

    • Danny Cosmos says:

@Conan O’Brien this is nothing new…he’s always rude to staff

    • Tim Anderson says:

      Grow up

    • Mary Burnight says:

@Liz Mc. very kind of you to let me know the truth: but it’s hard to believe just anybody can sign in with a famous name. I should have said I am the Pope, now that would have created much further stir! As it stands now though, once I spotted the true information from you, I went back to my fake-Conan message and dropped a hair in one taco and I drizzled raw egg white on the other!! Now it’s all over but the puking. 😊

Ricky Gervais is going to have a field day with this…

    • Eliza Le Roux says:

Definitely Ricky is going to have a field day with this.. And for those Ricky haters, not in the top 5? You must be living under a rock. Ricky Gervais is a British actor, comedian, filmmaker, and writer who has earned most of his net worth as the creator of the popular comedy show ‘The Office’. The series has gone on to become one of the most lucrative shows in history. As of October 2022, Ricky Gervais’ net worth is roughly $140 million.30 Sept 2022
He really does not care what you think..

    • Christine Dixon says:

      Gervais is a complete nobody

I’m waiting for Chapelle to put the nail on the coffin on Corden’s career

  9. Fake Account says:

I love how he talks about the hair incident at the restaurant, completely failing to mention the rude comments he made then. Apparently, while sending back the plate he demanded, “Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I don’t write any nasty reviews in Yelp or anything like that.”

    • francesca casapietra says:

@MamaMOB well first find hair in your food is disgusting, second Baltazar charges 100 bocks for few eggs, I expect them to serve me what I ordered. He was rude? True but its also true That the owner took advantage of the situation since James is a famous person and now everybody talk about his restaurant

    • MamaMOB says:

@francesca casapietra Who is allergic to hair? No one. So in this instance they don’t need to apologize to anyone. Especially not someone being an asshole demanding free expensive drinks. Especially not when that person is filthy stinking rich and famous! Especially not in the day and age of the Internet when this can happen.

  10. Lunacy says:

I have faith in humanity after seeing all the comments calling his apology bullshit😂
