We’re watching history in the making here, I love both Jimmy’s they bring delight to my evenings 5 days a week and I miss them a lot when they take time off.
To be honest, I expected them to show Jimmy Kimmel receive a standing ovation here just like they showed how Jimmy Fallon received one.
I think the audience got heads up on Kimmel was hosting ..

even jimmy fallon’s audience does not always give him a standing ovation at his own show, though. i noticed this week that there were several days where no one stood. must be weird for him to sometimes get one and sometimes not.
Kimmel is much better than Fallon, who isn’t capable of doing interviews, but does play games instead.
If Fallon had scheduled Matt Damon as a guest for this day, that would’ve been the ultimate april fools day for Kimmel!
