The point everyones missing is that Fury follows the refs count before getting up at 8 both times.
Its not like he couldnt get up immediately had he really tried, but most trainers i know insist to make the most of the count
if you’re knocked down. If the refs count was bang on Fury would still have got up at 8 both times.
    Its a hollow argument.

      Exactly bro 👍

      @Jacob Pee 😂😂😂
Funny how wilders slow count passed u by eh..? So meticulous in ur analysis but missed that one, honest mistake or disingenuous fool trying to be smart..?

    • Richard Bare says:

@Jacob Pee Wow what a sweeping statement about British fans.. pretty racist sounding really. We put up with obnoxious self absorbed God complex American boxers for years but u wanna call out British fans as racists?? Ever been over here? It’s very different to the USA we don’t have the same race problem u lot do and we don’t constantly bang on about it.. yes there may be some fans who say racist bs but how dare u make such a statement. Your boy lost to a better man and mugged himself off with his lack of respect after all 3 fights, pre fight and post fight he couldn’t help play the race card so take ur mingy little race baiting opinion and stick it where the sun don’t shine…. mug

    • GREY SKY says:

@Jacob Pee Fury is the “KING” baby!!! the GYPSY KING, greatest heavy weight in history and he kicked Wilder’s sorry ass all the way back to Alla-Bammy with a right handed Whammy, that’s all she wrote bra, you are the weakest link – goodbye(:

Unrelated to the fight but it’s so nice to see a shoutout to the ghost, i loved watching that dude fight.

  3. Rosh&Daf Samuels says:

Cmon joe you’re letting yourself down here. I watched it live too and u apply the same count the wilder and the ref was consistent with both fighters. The best guy won and it was a great fight.

  4. General Chaos says:

Love that ‘pillow fists’ delivers the most devastating KO to the so-called most devastating KO artist in history.

    Fury massively underrated

    • LionHeartZell says:

@Johnny Dangerous this right here. That ko practically was due to exhaustion tbh.

    • Yatofn says:

@Jay Russ and seems like u cant read he said to deontay wilder

    • Superflyjimmysnucka says:

@manny8yo Please go and look at Wilders resume! He didn’t fight anyone in the top 100 for his 1st 30 fights! After he did he then went back out of the top 100 again!

    • Superflyjimmysnucka says:

@Ray Wil Who else would you like him to fight. One was a unified super champion! The other was the WBC champion! (WBC champion was protected for 5 years however)

  5. Lil_Pemsi Official says:

“Fury” and “Wilder” are 2 very coincidental last names for 2 of the greatest heavyweights

    • Abrax 23 says:

I think Wilder would beat every current heavyweight… except Tyson Fury.

    • Wessley says:

@Fun Games couldnt agree more. No more than a 1-2 combo thrown by either fighter.
Wilder was knocked down eventually with an average punch by being exhausted from being too heavy.

    • TheBigFatPresident says:

Great heavyweights, Fury of course is on the path to the greatest but I catch ur drift mane

    • Ares says:

@Fun Games Wilder’s greatness is his Power Punch, but other than Fury who he only wanted that fight cause he thought Fury was out, overweight, drugged, depressed suicidal, Wilder never fought anyone worth mentioning really. He fought Ortiz who was ranked in the top 10 but he is like over 40 with health issues. Wilder selectively chooses his opponents

  6. km says:

Actually regarding the count that is not the rules. The rules state: “Keep an eye on the standing boxer and make sure he stays in neutral corner. If boxer comes out, stop the count, put boxer back into neutral corner and then resume counting.”

  7. T[A]P Me!! To Have [S]EX With Me says:

Joe’s ignorance of the 10 count rule is exasperating. While it’s true that the referee picks up the count from the timekeeper initially, as soon as the ref picks it up and starts counting the timekeeper stops and whatever the referee counts is the “official” count.

Anything that distracts the referee during his count effectively stops the count, which will then be continued after he gives whatever instructions that delayed the count in the first place.

Also, it’s not a “ten second” count, it’s a count to ten. Some referees count fast, some count slow (both within reason). The referee in the 3rd fight was more on the slow side, but he was consistent in his pace for when both Tyson and Wilder were knocked down (people have synced videos of them to prove it).

      @Deanna Jones hahahahaha

    • fazeel ibrahim says:

@Deep Blue if its pissing you off so much why are u even watching it …he doesnt need your view count you insect

    • Muhammad Ujaama says:

Thank you for putting this out. The frustrating thing is that Joe should know better! He’s been around for too long not to know.

Joe’s platform is too big for him to make these kinds of mistakes. Too many people will believe him. In this day of social media, this is the kind of thing that can ruin a career.

    • Ice Cool says:

Wilder has lost all 3 fights. Move on

  8. Dam says:

His dad named him after Mike Tyson, which cuts into the odds somewhat. Glad to see Tony back on

  9. Dylan Kelley says:

“When he got dropped we all thought it was over”
Absolutely not. I’m sorry but at no point did I think Fury was out. Even since he got up in their first bout I came to the understanding that he is literally a fucking T-800 disguised as a man.

    • Zandohaha says:

Yeah not sure what Joe was smoking there. We’ve seen Fury literally snap himself back into consciousness and beat the count in the 12th round of the first fight. He wasn’t close to being finished by a bit of jelly legs in the 4th.

  10. Jeremy says:

The long count didn’t matter tyson still would’ve got up. He just got up when he knew he had too.
