I genuinely teared up listening to this , the music , the cinematography, the raw emotion in Jojis voice . It’s exactly why I love him so much .
This is by far the best music video I’ve watched this year so far. The juxtaposition between the violence of heart-broken men and Joji’s beautiful voice makes you feel a wide range of emotion. It’s quite amazing how he manages to make you feel the rage and desperation, but at the same time there’s this double meaning of friends being there through life at your best and worst moments. Absolutely beautiful, if the next album is this powerful we’re all in for a ride.
@okosan But the lyrics of the song are literally about heartbreak, and breaking up. Then couple that with multiple shots of the guys sitting alone and “thinking”. Very clearly deep in their emotions. Heartbroken people act out in crazy ways. A lot of men get very violent and self destructive after a break up, so heartbroken is a very proper title to apply in this situation I’d say.

@okosan It’s a way of talking, you can tell these are broken men that’ve lost their way and became degenerates. Anyway, the video implies at least one of them is heartbroken.
