Grant Polifka he is a rip off artist…first they stole chappelle show…now he stole the movie skeleton key…jus flipped everything…

    • MrSPIDEY21 says:

You are completely full of shit if you say that it isn’t a rip off…it’s the avatar to pocohontas…it’s the same EXACT blue print…with subtle changes to fit this time and racial tension…yea the plot of of a guy and his girlfriend vs a woman trying to find her way in life yea that’s different…but one race tricking another race stealing their body..there was nothing ORIGINAL about this was very clever with his Easter eggs and twists that’s it.

    • ElyssaAnderson says:

@MrSPIDEY21 – we get it sir. You’re very angry and you’ve let everyone know. Please stop.

  2. Maria No says:

Hope he wins the Oscar for best screenplay.

    • tony smith says:

Maria No I hope so too, but you forget Jordan Peele is black so he might as well forget that oscar.

    • Maria No says:

tony smith Last year Barry Jenkins won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and he happens to be a black man. I know the Oscars are racist but the film has been receiving a lot of attention from precursors critic awards so I’m being hopeful.

    • And I says:

eric jones That’s the Golden Globes. And there’s a big compétions for best screenplay, it will be Oscar-bait winning it. Last year The Lobster was an original movie that deserved but lost over shit Manchester by the Sea

    • red panda says:

In the past, horror films have been put in the drama categories at those award shows. So no, it’s still bs that it’s under comedy

    • Quentin Scorsese says:

tony smith he’s half while tho so he should be good

  3. loco coco says:

I’ve never seen this movie sounds good tho

  4. Zack Bratan says:

    He looks super annoyed.

    • sanaaalexis says:

Zack Bratan that’s just how he is

    • Tainted Reality says:

Zack Bratan In the beginning, perhaps, but I got more into the comments as the video continued. In fact, I picked up that he appreciated viewer’s theories, especially the “black mold” theory.

  5. Ross Allaire says:

Evacuate the city. Engage all defenses. And get this man an Oscar.

  6. Jino John Joseph says:

The Black Mold theory was actually amazing.

  7. Boxless Thinking says:

This comment section is going to be… something.

  8. deliman7203 says:

  11. Thomas Bixler says:

Deserves to win best picture at the Oscars. Yeah I said it

    • Infer says:

lnclincoln blade runner was good but no

    • And I says:

Infer Well as an award film it’s better in pretty much all aspects… It’s just less entertaining to the masses. Get out has an interesting message (though less universal and tought provoking in the long run than Blade Runner) but it’s execution isn’t really innovative, it uses and references well known tricks. Blade Runner, on the other hand, is possibly one of the finest and most unique movies of the 21st century. Even then it won’t win. Anyway, out of all the left field potential picks (including those two movies) Shape of Water is the most likely to win. But, we already know Oscar bait Call me By your name will take it home. Or maybe Dunkirk.

    • WrongThinkGuy J says:

      Thomas Bixler cuckkk

    • shaneth138 says:

Neither of these movies are winning movie of the year. Mudbound won’t be nominated for anything. Blade Runner will win a lot of the visual awards but not Best Picture. I think Get out has a solid shot of winning.

    • And I says:

shaneth138 It’s too much a by-the-number thriller to win best picture. We’re talking about the Academy after all

    “Yeah… I meant that… that’s what I meant when I did that” 😂😂

  14. Sharonna Ramos says:

Nice video, But Im still pretty pissed people want to categorize this movie as a comedy.

  15. Joe Ferris says:

Explaining the movie is a mistake. Take notes from David Lynch and never explain shit.

    • Muscles MeatyBeast says:

I agree with your sentiment to leave some things a mystery, but honestly, he doesn’t touch upon anything in this video that is more than just A. Incorrect fan theories or B. Correct interpretations you’re supposed to understand.

    • Alexandra Valerious says:

Joe Ferris i feel this but at the same time there are many stupid people that need things spelled out for them

    • Ric o says:

Alexandra Valerious Oh come on anyone could miss subtle metaphors when executed properly.

    • GrayWoIf says:

Lynch explains things he just does it 25 years at a time

    • A.D.S.F says:

David Lynch is a shity director and all his movies are piece of shit .. so why should he take notes from him ?

  16. Brian says:

all high school English teachers need to see this video

“Nah, it’s not a huge metaphor I just decided to make the curtains blue”

    • Ken Mathis says:

MicoDossun Funny how nobody actually refers to my arguments. Even funnier is that people do this while trying to claim the intellectual high ground. Let me quote myself. Please tell me where the flaw is in my logic.

“All I am saying is don’t assert more precision to analysis than can be justified.”

Seems pretty ironclad to me. If you don’t know, don’t make it up. If you still make it up, acknowledge that you are making it up. Simple.

    • MicoDossun says:

Ken Mathis that’s inherently absurd though. If you think a teacher is making it up you generally aren’t paying attention

    • Ken Mathis says:

MicoDossun Once again you avoided my argument. If it is so obvious, show me the flaw in my logic.

    • Gg Ff says:

Brian YES FUCK FUCKIN OF MICE AND MEN OH THE RED GLOW OF THE FIRE COULD SIGNAL DEATH! No you fuckin dicks even Steinbeck said it was just a simple story fuckin twats using quasi intellectual commentarys on simple story’s to justify their pay checks. Man I hated school teachers

    • Chantal Ncube says:

Yes! Our high school teacher would tell us “the full stop signifies finality” lol whut

  17. Alien Vs McDouble says:

ok but is peele gonna win oscar for his role as dead deer???

  18. Tristan David says:

Not only were all of the cars black, they were Lincolns. That’s not an accident, either.

  19. Olivia Martin says:

This… is actually one of the most interesting “interviews” I’ve watched. They should do more like this!

  20. Mummy Napkin says:

Jordan Peele gets uneasy at the comment “skinny black guy” when he used the same descriptive like comment saying “old white people”. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me, coming from a black male myself.

    • Blasian Buffet says:

Mummy Napkin I think the difference was that Andre was not only a named character but the first scene in the movie and a major part of the plot as a whole, but the old white people were just there to serve a minor purpose.

    • Mummy Napkin says:

      Oh, I see
