Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.

Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. The producers are John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment; Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions; and Beau Flynn of Flynn Picture Co., with Scott Sheldon and Doug Merrifield serving as executive producers. The story is by John Norville & Josh Goldstein and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa, and the screenplay is by Michael Green and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa. Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” releases in U.S. theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30, 2021.

    • Kyle Martinez says:

    • Varun says:

@Kyle Martinez yeah , coz Dora film doesn’t need to have Dwayne Johnson i it

    • leone ochieng says:

@Kyle Martinez but it had a little rock in the animated sequence 😁😁😁

    • Kyle Martinez says:

@leone ochieng Lol you got me there, but there’s no “Dwayne Johnson” in the animated sequence

  2. Faradilla Ramadhita says:

Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson did the best! Go The Rock and Emily! For Jungle Cruise!

Me too this looks amazing 🤩

    • Keaton Whittington says:

I’ve been waiting on this movie but it got pushed back sadly.

  4. Isaac Carlson says:

Jungle Cruise’s trailers makes it feel like a spiritual successor to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and I’m all for it!

    • Sean B says:

I disagree, as it’s not in the same time frame as the Pirates films. The Pirates films take place in the 1700’s or earlier, this doesn’t.

    • adnan zia says:

This movies going to be awful

    • Sandy Fox says:

@David Gromak Indeed! I so much enjoyed the jungle cruise ride with family at Disneyland years ago, this reminds me of the great time we had on it.

    • Pepper Tree Villa says:

Agreed, Isaac. While it may be loosely based on the original attraction at Disneyland, it’s great to see a fresh script and concept from Walt Disney Studios.

    • John Morgan says:

Maybe the awful fourth and fifth Pirates, but not at all the trilogy. Not in my opinion.

  5. Roth7000 says:

Almost forgotten about this movie so excited to see this because of The Rock and it’s cool to see Disney making a new movie based on an theme park like they did with Pirates of the Caribbean

    • Manuel Orozco says:

I lost interest in Pirates after On Stranger Tides

    • flyboy152 says:

@Manuel Orozco Yes, unfortunately nothing exceeds like excess. They took a great idea then stretched it to 5(?) movies, by which time it sucked.

  6. MegaTimmytommy says:

A live action Disney film that isn’t a remake of one of their animated classics? One ticket please!

    • Danbo 22 says:

@nazia it’s original enough. It’s like Titanic, it borrows from an existing thing for setting but the story is completely original

    • Manuel Orozco says:

@Danbo 22 That’s why I have an open mind to this movie

    • Manuel Orozco says:

@Danbo 22 I was not going to see it without the songs from the Broadway version

    • MegaTimmytommy says:

@Manuel Orozco Yeah Cinderella and Aladdin were fine.

    • Manuel Orozco says:

@MegaTimmytommy Aladdin could have been though if they changed Jafar’s characterization, kept some of the original’s zaniness and added the Broadway material. Speechless was forgiving though as well as Will Smith as the Genie of course

  7. Really Now says:

Hope this film is good and this is the start of a film series. The next one could be called Jungle Cruise Control.

  8. F AC says:

The Jungle Cruise alternate title: When Maui met Mary.

  9. Patrick Dougall says:

Pirates of the Caribbean + The Mummy! Absolutely!

  10. Galaxy Dew says:

    Dwayne Johnson looks Awesome!!!!
