I mean, this just looks absolutely phenomenal. They may have just made a Kirby game a must play. I bet this is about to get the same mass marketing push they gave Metroid Dread.

@Jann75 Right? No matter how you slice it, you could spend the rest of your life playing nothing but “must plays” and never get anywhere near needing to play a Kirby cause you’d never run out of other, even stronger “must plays”. It is silly to call any of them a must play considering how many games out there would trump any Kirby game. It seems some people think that because they love the series, that means its a must play. People love Dynasty Warriors too, that doesn’t make it a must play for anyone unless you are already a fan.

Kirby is one of Nintendo’s B tier series. They are consistent 7/10 games, sometimes a 6, a couple times an 8. A 7/10 is good enough to garner a fanbase and even have some people who love it. Nobody needs to go out and play any Kirby game tho, unless they are already a fan and missed a good one. (Cause if you are a fan and haven’t played the 3DS robot one, you should.)

Every Kirby game is a must play

@EXT4NT they aren’t really mustplays, mustplays are iconic and, well, as the name implies, must-plays. Games like botw, smo, ssbu, and Metroid dread. I’ve just never felt that way about Kirby games, but they’re still good

    • Rhyme or Reason says:

      I hope so.

I’m so looking forward to this beautiful open world game and this is the best way to celebrate the franchise 30th anniversary. I hope this is worth something we are playing for depending on the game performances.

  6. kaboart says:

Man, it looks soooooo guud, why did Nintendo waited so long to do this style of game. It goes so amazing with the franchise 😀

    • Jaekization says:

I think it’s a good thing they waited this long. Kirby with these types of visuals is already doing wonders. It just makes the first 3D game that much better

  7. Cortney Salerno says:

My whole life I’ve been waiting for Kirby to get his due. This looks like the time has finally arrived 💗

  8. Chris says:

What better way to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary than with the first 3D Kirby game! I hope this game gets record-breaking sales for the series like we’ve seen with a lot of other Nintendo games on the Switch.

  9. Asher S says:

You can already tell they put a lot of work into this game and really wanted it to be great (from what I see) I’m super excited for this I love everything about this the mini games OMG!!!
