i know M Night gets a lot of hate, but he’s actually one of the most creative and thrilling directors! Although his movies are hit or miss, when he has a hit it’s a HIT!!

  2. Suburban White Dad says:

Bautista straight brings it. He chose a better film career path than other wrestler turned actors. I wonder what they think of him…also nice seeing Rupert Grint lately!

    • Jason Greive says:

I don’t know, The Rock and John Cena might have something to say about that.

    • Anthony Garcia says:

The little girl gets shot at the end accidentally fulfilling the prophecy. The remaining kidnappers kill each other, and that’s the movie

    • tropicthndr says:

He had to bring it, because the movie is sooo friggin idiotic.

    • jacob ballard says:

Dave has said he doesn’t respect the other wrestler turned actors because he thinks they aren’t up to his level. Dave chooses more character driven roles rather than roles where he would basically just be playing himself like John Cena or the rock.

    • Warren L says:

Debatable. John Cena and The Rock have made great film choices. Batista is good too.

  3. Moolers says:

I unironically love Shyamalan and can’t wait to see this. His movies may be really dumb some times, but they always manage to feel fresh and different compared to most Hollywood drivel.

    • Vishnu Nair says:

@debora bump the grandma still freaks me out NGL 😬😁

    • debora bump says:

@Vishnu Nair AWESOME MOVIE!! i saw it, and it blew me away. watched again w. boyf., but covered my eyes for certain scenes i thought scary…and watched HIS reactions….lol, his eyes got big, and his mouth was open, lol.

    • jacob ballard says:

Yes! At least he tries to be original

    • Vishnu Nair says:

The Visit is still one of my favs……..such a simple everyday horror.

    • Media Maniac! says:

Yeah, you’re right about both of those things. This was already one of my most anticipated for next year. His movies have been predictably dumb to bad lately, but I’ll admit that they’re different from the five pointless Marvel blockbusters thoughtlessly churned out every year.

  4. Salman Ghori says:

Unnerving, unsettling, creepy, and insane. Everything a film like this should be. Excited for this one.

  5. Dipto Ghosh says:

I am so proud of Dave. He chose a film career in a much more artistic way than all the other bling-ass wrestlers. And he didn’t just choose them because of the content, but he also justifies each and every role he takes. A truly credible man.

    • Dolan Dayview says:

I saw him at the premiere of “Stuber” and he genuinely seemend like the sweetest guy ever

    • Anthony Garcia says:

They need to watch out for monkey box

    • Raiden X says:

No need to bash on other wrestlers

    • avi gutierrez says:

Thank you Jason and that’s why I’m a fan of Batista he knows time and again doing genres is a game changer and one day he’ll win an Oscar but still though that’s someone I love to work with.

    • Jason Bacon says:

Exactly. He doesn’t begrudge the Marvel films he made but he’s said time and again he doesn’t want to just play heavies in mindless action movies, or stuff like that, he wants to be an ACTOR, and work with talented filmmakers, and he’s even said he’s taken the time to study with coaches and he wants to perfect his craft.

  6. Zilla Universe says:

While M Night Shyamalan is hit or miss, when he does low budget thrillers he’s at his best.

  7. David Emanuel Rosini says:

I’m glad people get to see how great of an actor Batista really is. Best actor to come out of wrestling for sure.

    • Captain Arieful says:

@Stefan Boltzmann Cena really blew me away on Peacemaker in terms of his dramatic moments

    • Stefan Boltzmann says:

@Muhammad Fakhry Imtiyaz rock is a lame actor, all his roles are the same, but Dave hes a amazing actor, John Cena its on the way.

    • Mister Who says:

John Cena said about Dave Bautista and The Rock, “And I think Dave is really, extremely underrated as an actor. I think he’s a wonderful character actor and he chooses his pieces very wisely and he always surprises and over-delivers with every performance. I think they both have their own lane and they both do what they do extremely well.”

    • Pandaopskid says:

@Muhammad Fakhry Imtiyaz yeah then too

    • Muhammad Fakhry Imtiyaz says:

@MrSweetAsbru how about John Cena and The Rock bruh

  8. Cho Vue says:

Don’t care what people say about m. Night films, they’re always fun to watch!

  9. Gary Irwin says:

I loved the book and wasn’t even aware they were making an adaptation. I’m freaking out at this trailer. This is going to be fantastic!!

  10. Liam Pendergast says:

Anytime Dave Bautista wears tiny glasses, you know he’s gonna give the performance of a lifetime.
