Please stop. There’s nothing wrong with animation. Please make new content instead of playing it safe rehashing guaranteed sellers.

    • Digota says:

      @Amier Solomon agreed.

    • Rōnin says:

@BB8is Life bruh these are the classics in live action they need new shit that isn’t live action

Why does this hurt you ?

    • Jeffery Francis says:

Digota They make movies that aren’t remakes or sequels all the freakin time. It always flops. Flies under the radar. See: Nutcracker, Wrinkle in Time, John Carter, Lone Ranger, Christopher Robin. There’s nothing wrong with reimagining old franchises.

    • ARighteousman says:

If you want them to stop…STOP WATCHING THE LIVE REMAKES!
Disney making tons of money from these films regradless of how many people are against live remakes of classic animated movies. Why would they stop?

  2. Caleb Moorefield says:

Just want a live action remake of Treasure Planet.

  3. Isaiah Compagne says:

I love how they say it’s an ‘original’ film.

    • Ribbons Almark says:

@MikeRM Productions dreamworks, illumination, pixar…because let’s face it,Disney is leeching off Pixars success and they’d be far better off without disney. Disney hasnt had an originslneork since Princess and the Frog, the last of the hand drawn talent from Walt Disney Studios. The current Disney Inc…Walt is sharing beers with Stan right now and reminiscing of the good times.

There were some scenes I saw that weren’t in the original, so they may be changing the movie up this time.

  14. Rachenna77 says:

Something that bothers me is the fact all the new generation kids will ONLY watch the remakes and not the originals, I’m sure many don’t even know about the originals.

but I will say this looks really cute and could be the best remake so far.

    • SoulDragonit says:

New generation will only know the originals by their parents who pass it along. Which I will be doing 100% whenever I get kids and I know many many other people who are doing this aswell currently with their kids! My little nephew of 2 years has recently saw the original LionKing <3

    • Rachenna77 says:

@lochlan’s place watch the original movies, all the 2D animated ones. It’s not hard to watch those lmao

    • Rachenna77 says:

@SoulDragonit That’s EXACTLY what I want to do, I wont be having any for probably 10 years or more but I want my kids to treasure the classics that I grew up to..hopefully I’ll still have all my VHS’s lol!

    • Rachenna77 says:

@Alice Mar You have a point, but this is all thanks to VHS which isn’t common anymore. All we had in the 90’s were VHS so of course we’d watch these films. IT’s not the same anymore you have to remember, this is 20 years later.
Also, I’m not sure what channel is playing these classics but it’s obviously not everywhere. I never saw these tv channels growing up.
All I hear from parents and kids these days is “Frozen” and “minions” etc, I asked my aunt if she showed my young cousin all the classics and she didn’t.

    Disney : *Heck Yess*

    • Ribbons Almark says:

Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dam, Hercules,The Great Mouse Detective,Oliver and Company, Empeors New Groove,Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear,Bambi, Peter Pan,Recess,Fox and the Hound,Atlantis:The Lost Empire…is that all the ones people havnt thrown in for live action yet?

Sidenote… Atlantis would be amazing if the maker of Avatar did it. Avatar was so close to it already…

Also, not sure its Disney but…Live Action Wild Thornberrys anyone?

    • Shiny Sparkle says:

Ribbons Almark Wild Thornberries is Nickelodeon

  17. Danmunite says:

    • Nicky Bloo says:

They did mention all the classics will be on there as well. That’s probably where I’m gonna be sticking with when I get Disney+

  19. Shut up says:

Producers: Which movie should we make a live action?
