@agøstina cueva As much as The Fame And The Fame Monster got me thru adolescence I think much of her earlier music was more her expressing herself and her pain, and also just a lot of fun dancer pop bangers of course, often with uplifting lyrics too but I think lately more than ever the music she’s written just feels like it’s made more with the intention of speaking very directly to people and delivering a clear, positive message that can reach a lot of people. Ever since Million Reasons, Til It Happens To You, and the whole Joanne era her music is more like this. Born This Way was too but more electronic and too “weird” as a whole for as much mainstream appeal as something like this may have with the stripped down production
