  2. BlackTigr, Inc. says:

It especially sucks when you’re in a constant uphill battle against sleazy
false-debt companies that just smack stuff onto your credit report,
lowering it, in hopes that you won’t question where it came from or how it
got there, and will simply scare you into paying them off.

  3. Julia Brooks says:

Why the fuck can you only check your credit score once a year?

  4. Dustin Hayes says:

311 was an inside job perpetrated by our own government. Investigate 311.

  7. Splaticus Blah says:

Other dumb thing is that everytime someone checks your credit rating it

  10. TheTechnicalNirl says:

Somebody help me out here: do americans really use credit cards like most
europeans use debit cards? Is this why credit and credit ratings are so
important there? If so, why don’t people just use debit cards instead of
    paying interest with credit ones?

  11. Oliver Gehrmann says:

I don’t get how this show can churn out an episode like this every fucking
week. How is it possible there are so many fucked up systems in America /
    in the world?!

  12. johninsalisbury2010 says:

ask the credit people if they call you dead then you can do something
criminal against them and not go to jail. I mean how can a dead person be
    sent to jail?

    Perdiction on that ending:
Soon, HBO WILL get sued by one of those companies. Possibly all 3,.
Hopefully that doesn’t scare them off from making more, because John Oliver
    is a benius. :)

  15. Joe Scott says:

Credit bureaus are a joke. I once got turned down for a car loan and was
told it was because I was already paying for 3 cars. Turned out that some
doctor with my same name got his debts listed on my report. Had to hire a
    lawyer to fix it.
