Daylight saving time doesn’t actually benefit anyone. Strangely, it’s still a thing!

*Daylight Saving Time: How Is This Still a Thing?*

Maybe I’m just in my self-serving DST-hating echo chamber of friends and
associates and co-workers and media … but does anyone actually *like*
changing the clocks twice a year?

I mean, yeah, if we went off of changing the clocks (whichever way we do
it), people would find something to bitch about *that,* too, but really …
is that any worse than the current goofiness?

Hell, let’s be like India and split the difference.

Hmm I wonder if Americans can pronounce the Word
“Rechtsschutzversicherungsgesellschaften” right. I´m pretty sure it would
    sound funny :D

  6. IPsycho Doodle says:

Solution for lazy people: Don’t change your clock. If you need to go back
an hour or forward an hour. Just add or subtract 1.

There! No work, no problem, no issue 🙂

And if everyone does it, someone will eventually think “Why not just rule
it out altogether?” and then its gone :D

  7. ManaNeko says:

What they say about cows is actually completely wrong and misinformed! DST
causes problems with cows because they get used to getting milked at
specific hours in the morning. Changing the milking time disturbs their
rhythms and they produce less for the following weeks.

I love seeing the map of the Places with Daylight savings.. Then u see this
massive province in the middle of Canada left out, called Saskatchewan… A
Large prairie province mainly situated around Farming…. Canada’s Main
Farm lands…. And They don’t have daylight savings because quote “It
    confuses the Cows”

Canada, one of the largest farming countries in the world, has it’s main
farm land province not participate in daylight savings at all. Makes
figuring out the time difference interesting.

With Net Neutrality, voting rights for American Territories, and now noting
the uselessness of daylight savings time, I am starting to thin the people

  10. DANGUS says:

Days are shorter in the winter and longer in the summer. If we didn’t have
daylight savings time, it would get dark at like 2 in some places.

  11. zero emissions says:

Protest daylight savings time by not changing the clocks but you might be
an hour late or an hour earlier to your appointments
