I love how Squirtle went from wanting to evolve, becoming a killing machine, to a free Pokémon with godly powers only at his second evolution

It’s heavily implied that the God of Gods Pokémon is Arceus, but he actually says Arceus in Japanese. アルセウス
I suspect strongly it’s going to be a different setup. Don’t forget the legendary Sinnoh Pokémon and what abilities they have. I have a suspicion about where this season is headed and I’m looking forward to seeing if Wartortle can make it happen.
Snow specifically mentions Time and Space as being his rulers, so I would think Dialga and Palkia at least are up there as well

I feel kinda bad for Turtwig. I also really like Turtwig and hope he comes back.
He didn’t seem to mind following Squirtle around where ever when he thought they were friends, and then Squirtle forgot his name and called him Bulbasaur.

also love how Shippage chose gen 4 starters because of the current gen 4 hype
I love how everyone expected Charmander to live but then in the middle of the video Squirtle is like “Yeah Charmander died”

@Andres Caballero actually at 16:12 , he says he’s god are of space and time. And this episode consistent of gen 4 Pokémon. I’m predicting that in the next episode wartotle might actually meet palkia and dialga
He probably isn’t permanently dead though since he has unfinished business with Mewtwo.
(Spoilers) There’s layers to Squirtle’s being broken in the flashback. When Caterpie triggered his rage in the first flashback, Squirtle looks at him and denied his evolution as he calmed down. He wasn’t looking at Caterpie; he was looking at the severed head of Charmander worn as a hat. It reminded him his lashing out costed his friend’s life, and his fear of losing control and taking responsibility finally broke him into a mindless slave. This is the best episode by far in showing drastic character growth (or regression)!
