tell me how this isn’t a strand type game

When this game came out, I genuinely thought to myself “I bet dunkey will come up with some incredible feats of zelda engineering.” I don’t know what I was thinking.

  3. Ghonostel says:

This game really makes you FEEL like you have seven horse power on a car without even having any horses.

  4. Ramanand says:

In a world of videos showing perfect buildings and engineering, Dunkey has portrayed the perfect example of how its REALLY like to play TotK

    • Lulink says:

Well he’s only showing clips of him making stupid shit for laughs. I bet he can make stuff that actually works.

i died more in the first 5 hours of tears than all of breath….but i have, at last, discovered steering sticks….the single greatest item in this game.

and time rewind, for when things fall off cliffs, or when you want things to fall upwards so you can ride boulders!

    • Damp says:

i’m at least 30 hrs in and haven’t found the steering stick yet. still maneuvering planes like a chump with my weight.

This game is amazing they really took Banjo Kazooie Nuts And Bolts as a inspiration to heart

    • Branden P says:

I wonder if the nuts and bolts devs have surprised Pikachu faces right about now.

    • VicariousReality says:

Feels more like the result of them playing Garry’s Mod non-stop for 2 years.

    • Seth Langston says:

A.k.a. what Nuts N’ Bolts should’ve been, a game that is primarily a platformer with vehicle-crafting being a major component. TotK is a game added a major new feature without forgetting what it is at its core, not some dumb robot lecturing to the fanbase that they’re wrong about what they want and instead selling out to corporate trends (I’m talking about the robot in NnB, BTW).

    • photon field says:

When Nuts and Bolts was in early development, they had to make a choice of which direction they wanted to take the game in:
Option A: Make a good game
Option B: Shit on their old fans
After seeing the success of Tears of the Kingdom, they’re really kicking themselves for not going with Option A.

    • Miguel Peña says:

With the amount of collectibles in TotK you can guess what Nuts and Bolts was missing, which is precisely what the robot was lecturing you about.

  7. SirKnight26 says:

This is probably the most accurate way to show off what playing Tears of The Kingdom is like. The building really makes you feel like Link is not an engineer.

  8. BK Films says:

This game really makes you FEEL like you can be Big Wheel.

  9. Philip says:

I felt his true suffering in that sigh when the korok fell off the air balloon thing the second time

    • TheGradyBaby says:

And the greatest suffering of all is the realization that he could’ve just recalled the Korok from high up and it would’ve returned to the top on its own, without having to rebuild the thing.

i genuinely cried laughing at the last part, was not expecting donkey brain of that magnitude
