For the third year in a row, Vogue will be hosting the official Met Gala red carpet livestream on Monday, May 1, giving viewers the inside look at one of the most anticipated—and star-studded—events of the year.
Once again, the livestream will be hosted by actor and producer La La Anthony, joined this time by writer and man-about-town Derek Blasberg and Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman. Internet multi-hyphenate Emma Chamberlain will also return as Vogue’s special correspondent.
This year’s Met Gala, which celebrates the indelible legacy of the late Karl Lagerfeld, will no doubt be a true fashion fête.
I think people may be disappointed with this year’s fashion. But remember, the theme is a designer, this year, not a concept. The clothes seen this year are actually fashion, not costume like. Everyone looks beautiful, but don’t expect way out there conceptual clothes. This year is beautiful but not wild.

I am honestly so impressed with how many actually did the research this year and were on theme. It is a themed event, youre not supposed to just dress beautifully so it is such a pleasure and joy seeing them nail it.

I love the look i dont get why people are mad at Jennie’s look. She looks effortlessly pretty and elegant. She went smart, she went with the theme, and she doesn’t really need to prove anything since she’s already Jennie Ruby Jane. She didn’t chose a dress that would overpower her and she carried it elegantly. ❤

Her outfit was underwhelming. She had the privilege of wearing a recreation of vintage Chanel but she choose to wear that over Karl’s other stunning and substantial designs
