Am a neutral and this game was probably the most exciting game I’ve seen in some time. The ref was in over his head and missed some key calls.

  2. ABadRash says:

One thing you can tell about watching City versus Liverpool, is that these two teams love playing against each other, and these two sets of fans love seeing it.

    • pat pat says:

@Duke on Wheels lol if you think those matches were equal, you know less about football than I thought.

I hope they don’t, but I suspect City is still going to catch you in the end.

    • Pravin Jha says:

@purple perc stats are accurate but it didn’t feel like it. Somehow it was more entertaining. Perhaps the atmosphere

    • Thomas Wake says:

As a lpool fan I can promise you I do not love seeing it. Every time we play them is a traumatic experience no matter the result

    • purple perc says:

It was boring game and one team was so defensive If this was a spurs game they would be whining instead Liverpool fans are celebrating 30% possession on 70% passing 🤦‍♂️

    • Marcos Becerra says:

Man even as a city fan I still loved the game sucks that we lost but I’m glad to see the old Liverpool I want that competition more this season

  3. Graciela Gomez says:

Becker is insane. Those assists are legendary

  4. Philip Gentles says:

Now THAT is what our defense use to look like. Well done lads.

  5. Philip Gentles says:

Salah’s goal. He needed it. The team needed it. We all needed it.

  6. zes says:

it’s so refreshing not seeing salah hugging the touchline all game, he was a different animal today🔥🔥

  7. Jacob__55 says:

This is genuinely the best atmosphere we’ve seen in years, absolutely incredible!

  8. Yuri Zsa says:

I watched this game twice, instead of american football. At a point, there was so much tension on the field between players, both coaches going crazy on the sidelines spurring the fans on, the announcer said to people watching listen to this, the fans sung/ cheer their hearts out, such passion.

  9. Julen Gorostiza says:

I’ve been saying it for a while now. People seemed to have forgotten the fact that Robertson was injured. He’s such an important factor to the Liverpool defense and it showed today

    • SeaDorks says:

Tbh it helped that TA wasnt starting

    • Aidan Lynch says:

You can see the difference he makes to the team, tsimikas is good but nothing like Robertson

    • Shawn SQ Zhang says:

As an Arsenal supporter, I was glad Robertson was injured. I knew he was better than Tsimikas and a straight up baller, unlike that defensive fraud, TAA.

    • Frederick Chilton says:

No one really forgot. He played well today but He was literally there vs United, Newcastle, & Napoli. Liverpool just been off the paces at the start of this season.

  10. Anthony says:

Jota ‘s pressing ALL GAME was insane. Looked like Mane. With that amount of effort it was inevitable he would blow his hammy out in the 96th minute

    • Steve Stevenson says:

but did you see Mane’s chip today though ? 🥶🥶

    • Zalatan Ibra says:

@Dilliam Bavis Agreed, Mane’s awarness and intelligence were what made him a superstar. The other players in Liverpool with that quality are VVD, Thiago and Bobby.

    • Zoey Siddiqi says:

jota is proof that liverpool should never have bought nunez. waste of money while they had such a class player on the bench

    • JustadudeBROWsin says:

Yes, not to mention how many times Akanji fouled him that wasn’t even called. Scythed down 4 times I think

    • Nick Rogers says:

Yup. Pressing all game, making great runs and, yet again, not receiving the passes he deserves in front of goal (barring the one Salah pass for the header attempt). Silimarly, the Nunez non pass to Salah was astounding.
