Could have been a cool trailer – of universes tearing apart, bleeding into each others worlds as monsters and armies from both IPs invade a new space; Space Marines vs Phyrexians. Planeswalkers vs Necrons; epic music and warfare brought to the forefront, getting MTG and 40K fans hyped. Instead it’s yet another live action cringe fest from late 40 year olds in marketing who are completely out of touch. I’m surprised Steve Buscemi didn’t arrive, deck in hand saying “How do you do, fellow nerds?” Hard to watch this when compared to the War of the Spark trailer.
Damn why not just suggest a whole Magic/Warhammer crossover movie why don’t you. This is a small product with a smaller marketing budget. I’m surprised it even got an ad like this. Keep your expectations in check.
I mean yeah but its for completly different things. This isnt a story trailer for a set.
