Come on JJR, give us some fandom cakes please! Harry Potter, LOTR, Doctor Who; they sound like they’ve been done before but JJR always comes up with never before done pieces of art and I’d love to watch his interpretations of the fandoms.

    • Missix says:

There might be rights or trademark issues that stop him from doing many fandom cakes. Even the GoT inspired one was intentionally labelled (*NOT) Game of Thrones Dragon Cake.

    • Siriusly says:

Missix yeah I thought of that too.. maybe he can pull something like that again though? Not use the trademark name and use his own renditions of objects from the fandoms? It’ll be a nice challenge for him, and infinitely entertaining for us

    • Missix says:

He might be able to pull off a Harry Potter or a LOTR cake like that, since there are aesthetics in those fandoms that are kind of universally fantasy? But idk how he’d manage to pull off a Doctor Who cake. Even the GoT one was a sort of generic dragon sword if you remove the inspiration material.

    • Siriusly says:

Missix yes I agree the ones with alternate universes are the best source materials. Even the Hunger Games and Eragon are good

Awesome cake once again! Really love the crackling effect, is there a way to do this without airbrush?

Also a little bit of friendly feedback, you look a little orangy compared to your neck and arms, maybe use a different kind of make up or at least blend it in more with your neck? Really no offence intended and if you’re fine with it, then so am I, it’s just that I noticed and thought I would give some friendly feedback in case you didn’t notice it yourself and wanted to do something about it πŸ˜‰

Anyway πŸ™‚ , great cake, I’m really hungry for garbage cake right now! Can’t wait till the next one!

Cinnamon swirl?? Yum! I’ve GOT to try that on one of my cakes. Using a cosmetic sponge…brilliant! Great job, as always.

    • Toria Meske says:

What I love about all your cakes is they look nice and I bet they are tasty. I like a good cake to frosting ratio, a lot of decoraters have just a little frosting and a bunch of nasty fondant. Keep up the good work!

You should do a cake for Chinese New Year. something like a 3 layered cake with a soup bowl and its pouring hot soup and noodles out from the top with a dragon spiraling up from the bottom.
