Disney+ and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway, unwrapping a brand-new teaser trailer and poster today for “Hawkeye,” a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, “Hawkeye” also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, “Hawkeye” debuts exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.

I haven’t finished the Hawkeye run and I want to add that I like Kate bishop, she’s a fun and flamboyant character that I enjoy. However it looks like this show is taking the best aspects of Kate without making Clint look incompetent.
Hope so, a big problem with legacy characters is the og character suddenly being useless and rendered impotent. Hope that doesn’t happen here

Honestly, this is the show I’m least interested in. No offense to Hawkeye, it’s just that the other shows have been more intriguing for the greater MCU future. Never was the biggest Hawkeye fan tho, but it should be good.

I kinda want a Halloween themed show with the guardians.
Something I really like about the tone set in this trailer is that the whole “We’re in a chaotic firefight but I can still be calm enough to make jokes sometimes” bit really suits Hawkeye organically. He’s seen so much combat, most of which has placed him as the underdog with an outdated form of weaponry that he manages to save himself with. Clint being jaded but having fun with it makes me so happy.

It needs a thorough explaining of where he’s getting all of these arrows from. Is it all Stark tech? Has he been stealing a bit of everything from criminals? What things has he done to get those arrows in the time-skip? Why the Christmas theme? Do elves make them? Do elves make some that are super dangerous that he’s just not used until now? Do elves smuggle WMD arrows to Clint to help mass-judge the naughty? I’m pretty sure Santa is MC canon at least, but this would be a really terrible way to make him MCU canon.
The problem is marvel does it with EVERY character
What I really love is his dry humor. Like, he’s not even trying to make jokes but he says things in the most absurd ways 😂😂😂😂 I love it
