Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder arrives only in theaters July 8.
The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Directed by Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, “Thor: Love and Thunder” opens in theaters July 8, 2022.

@Mustang65 When you said “second movie”, it triggered the memory of a horrible nightmare I had. In it I was a superhero that had to kiss an ugly-faced scientist goblin that was possessed by a rock in a weird liquid form that looked more like poorly done CGI, than it did liquid.

I’ve always felt the way Marvel casts the actors has been perfect. And Chris Hemsworth is the definition of that. He really is Thor.

Amazing how they turned the Thor series around after the first two by making it more comedic and so so much brighter
The first 2 were great for the 3rd went downhill amd the 4th is also going downhill with Thor in my opinion

Focusing on how much work it actually takes to regain both mental and physical health is so incredible. It’s not a magical moment where he has this “boom” and is now back to perfect form, it’s months of learning to love yourself, who you are, and working to become someone you can love even more.

The fact that we’re getting another movie from one of the 6 OGs will be quite a treat for everyone. I wish they would have stayed a bit longer. Miss the Avengers.

I’ll be satisfied with this being the only trailer. It’s a first look into the characters and doesn’t give away what would seem to be major plot points. We’ll timed trailer and very well executed selection of scenes. Can’t wait for July
They should’ve directly release the movie

The MCU should just do that from now on, only release 1 trailer for already established characters shortly before the release
Chris Hemsworth as Thor is one of the best casting decisions ever! I really don’t know how anyone else will ever play Thor as well as him.
Finally, the biggest question we all had after Endgame will be answered. Who’s really in charge here?
