Be honest this is all staged as so much can go wrong with the set up (it is usually the scenario that is suppose to be funny), can someone randomly go and check if any vendors are still stood outside this studio on a regular basis ?

I think they were invited to Ellen show after that. You can see what it looks like a security in casual clothes on the street when they arrived in the market. And you can see the last vendor smiling a bit containing herself when M eats the cookie as a chimp monkey!
