Suicide is the taboo pandemic, and I’m glad my boys at Metallica are shedding light on the topic. Many of us live or have dealt with it at some point of our lives, and even rescued others from committing by frustrating an attempt. The song is solid, deep and powerful, like everyone dealing with this situation. Stay strong everybody.

This song was clearly written to convey an important message and address the current suicide epidemic. Stay strong, seek help if you feel overwhelmed. Sometimes it is enough just to have someone to listen to you. But don’t suffer in silence, SCREAM SUICIDE! A powerful song from Metallica!
You can hear James’ voice changed a bit, but that’s not a bad thing at all. It perfectly fits this song, and i really hope there will be more songs like this one
