Minecraft Live 2021: Vote for the glare!
The glare warns you when you’re in an area that is dark enough for monsters to spawn! How does it let you know? By getting super grumpy, of course! Vote for the glare during Minecraft Live on October 16 at noon EDT!
The troll votes from last year: “My goals are beyond your understanding”
@Staksi 🤦♂️
@Sneaky-Boi The Sneakiest Boi yup
@AGS_dream8 if only they added monkeys 😔😔
@Boto at least that will be better than The glare
I didn’t know dream stans would go to THAT extent so i voted the glow squid to make my friends mad. Biggest regret of my life.
Pretty cool! Seems like you will be able to control the mob behaviour with redstone and light levels..? 🙂
@a c this week till the show
not to be a bot but who is magmamusen??🤔🤔
How are you not verified
Hello magma love youre vids
@Furman1221 builder
as much as i like the community voting on things to be in the game, i also think it’s a bit, um… silly? and a bit frustrating, that mobs that don’t get chosen just kind of get thanos’d, never to see the light of day again. i really think new and interesting mobs are something minecraft has been kind of lacking in, and maybe needs.
They said they might bring back outvoted mobs
@lolblitz gaming when/where did they say that?
@Jed that’s the benefit of being a modder
that’s exactly why they let you vote on them. By introducing three mobs you are creating an illusion that three are added and two are removed while in reality none of those three mobs have even started in developement and they were only ever planning on adding one mob, regardless they hosted a vote or not.
@lolblitz gaming Yeah when did they say that? I ain’t seeing no ice illigers or the flower cows anytime soon.
I think I see a feature that nobody imagined: the warden is a threat that can only be countered by sound so maybe with his growl he can occupy the warden while you look at the famous deep dark chests, confirmed by the devs.
@EDSBeGaming oof. that’s horrible to imagine, especially for people with attachment issues. in MC, you can be easily attached to anything and anyone.
It’s only a danger if it can destroy blocks.
If not, then you can just quickly build a hut around the chest, take the loot, then dig a tunnel to safety above.
We need stuctures no matter the mob we choose, alongside some few box dungeons revamps
@WUT? Me, with 0 attachment to anything in mc :
@Brynnley Ritchings it’ll hear the chest being opened
Let him grow and when hes fully grewed up, he will be a friendly grass golem/giant or a friendly blaze like creature who will help you when Mobs are hiding in the dark. And maybe give him Grass shields who get destroyed by Hit and have to recover 😁
this actually seems like a useful mob, you could use it to check light levels around your base to make sure mobs dont spawn, would probably be more useful on bedrock since java has the f3 menu tho
Though wouldn’t it become somewhat redundant due to the light and mob spawning changes in 1.18?
@Electo no in caves while you aren’t paying attention to lighting and dont want to press f3 every 5 seconds
These voting animations are getting more and more fun every year
I’m glad that they’re doing actually original mobs this year, instead of last year’s “exotic variants”.
And, from the looks of it, this’ll be a completely original passive mob that isn’t a real world animal, just like striders. That’s pretty interesting.
I know it’s not specifically based off a real world animal, but I am getting ‘bagworm’ vibes off it.
@dotdashdot .-. yeah, that is true
@Daniel Huerta its in mcd and its a new pillager
@Forine Lol
@Daniel Huerta it was in Minecraft Dungeons
This would be so useful for mob proofing builds. GoodTimesWithScar definitely needs one of these.
Yeah
This will help Hardcore players know when it’s dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn. I would like to see this!
