The thing is is that dev actually got the protection from the armour even though he got no armour bars because he threw a pearl and only took half a heart of damage so he might of actually lost against kier
And the axe was a 7dmg fist, that you can rapidfire

yall who’s still confused, the enchantments weren’t removed, all prot 4 combined gave him 64% damage reduction from all damage, this is why pearls and falling did so little damage. you can read on wiki how protection works

Note- even though dev had “fake armor” prot 4 would still work, which means he was still taking reduced damage even if he had no armor bars
Same for the axe, it was likely working like any non tool item with sharpness where it still does more damage but way less than a stock sword or axe

The fake netherite axe was also real, just the enchantment was fake
I feel like this would’ve been a lot more scary for dev if they only enchanted the armor with mending / a useless protection effect (proj, blast, something to that effect), because enchantments still effect you even on armor that has no protection. Giving it the enchant glint would have still made kier think he had prot 4 or something, given that’s usually how the op loot tables work in these videos. Still funny regardless
@Pog Champ yeah he’s still at a disadvantage but not as much as he said since you know it’s still reducing more than half of damage, also the damage reduction from armour and protection is separate
Technically it still falls under the perview of “fake OP”, because it *looks* like it’s god armor when really it’s barely better then the other.”

the protection 4 on the netherite armor actually was reducing the damage that Dev took, as you can clearly see when he takes fall damage in the end.
True but you need to remember the armor without the protection enchantments
give no extra protection so he’s basically wearing a pumpkin with protection 16 on it,
But he’s also very good at PvP and kier just sucks and he sucks in both ways

Holy shit man if we’re actually being honest, Mysterio was actually an INSANE hint. Cuz Mysterio wasn’t a real hero at all, and all of his “powers” were fake and made up. So were Dev’s twists. All fake. Props to you Dev. Good hint.

I watched so many manhunts with a twist, but Kier and Dev always do the best twists. It might just be their voices, personality or their twists but its fun and great content. I’m always hyped when I get home from work to see a new upload.
