What would be nice is if it had a proximity sensor that would determine that the target is in “range” of the punching mechanism and automatically fire it.
I was thinking the same, have it take a few measurements to account for speed that it’s moving to fire so it’ll hit the object right before max extension. Would be awesome. I’ve seen about three of these made but nobody has done that yet

I’d like the idea of having a type of pressure sensor that perfectly time the punch and the thrust, making a bruce lee inch punch effect.

Considering it’s size if you combined your ironman and exo suit designs with just a dash of powerloader. The hulk buster would probably be the most feasible functioning ironman suit to build

I think with something like this, you’d almost need an exoskeleton with hydraulics that is very heavy so if you want to move joints around, you’ll have a neurotransmitter to detect the waves that are sent to your muscles, and then the hydraulics can move the suit to match your desired movements. I’m not sure if that’s possible to have such a low input delay that it would feel instantaneous, but it would work because, without that, you would need to hav such a storm arm that the mechanism wouldn’t move your arm back, effectively lowering the punching power of the hulk buster fist.
To be fair the tempered glass demo involved 2 spikes at the end of the fist. Tempered glass does really well against broad impacts but very poorly against a concentrated force on a singular point. It makes sense if you know how glass breakers work.
