Vanessa, have you seen the dog grooming stands, the “DogUp Stand”? It’s supposed to help prop up dogs to remain standing while grooming. They seem so helpful. Regardless, your jobs are so lovely.

I thought he was Newfie and golden retriever at first

@P Herron It will grow, trust me, come cold weather and a few more grooming’s that dog will be stellar.

Will Wallys fur grow back properly through what’s left of it now?

He behaved so well considering it was so many hours and so much to be done

Wally’s coat is, like you said, INSANE! What I find most amazing about this dog is how, when you were bathing him, the undercoat refused to get as wet as the top coat, but during the drying process, the undercoat was still dripping after two bloody hours! And you were grooming him for five hours! That is INTENSE!

  3. Major says:

Man, he LITERALLY looks like a lion in the last shot! Great job, Vanessa! Wally looks very huggable, though I’m not sure he’d be as keen as I am about it. 😅

Poor Wally …. must have been a tremendous relief for the both of you! Wally before —->🐻Wally afterwards —->🐹👍🏻✌🏻

I can’t believe how normal sized he was after you shaved him! He was so good. I loved when you put his fur around your neck like a scarf. It would make a beautiful coat. You have such patience and are so kind with these animals. Great work. I thoroughly enjoy your channel.

  6. Cathy Cuellar Sanchez says:

Well done 👏👏 What a groom , no wonder you were tired😴 He’s a beautiful dog, but I was glad to see him move easier after the groom. You definately worked hard to save his coat ….but his health comes first. Brillant video ❤😘😘🍀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I can just imagine Vanessa’s reaction to Wally’s parents scheduling the appointment being a mixture of “Oh I’m honoured!” and “It will take days to recover from the stress this will give me”

  8. Gillianne Rogers says:

Wow! That was a shift Vanessa!! 💪🏻 Poor Wally must have been so uncomfortable with all that matted fur on. So nice to see him in your garden with his lovely floofy hair and tail. I’m so glad his owners were committed to getting his fur dealt with and to rescuing this beautiful boy! 💙 xx

  9. Tiny Tater Tot says:

So kind of you to provide Wally with free service for this as well as future appointments! Looking forward to seeing Wally in the future to see how his fur grows out and transforms!
