Oh man, that Kirby is looking good. It’s looking like that might be as wierd and wonderful as Odyssey.

It looks fun but it won’t be as good as Odyssey IMO. Odyssey is especially great because you can interact with almost everything in the world, it doesn’t feel like a game it feels like an adventure. Whereas here in this new Kirby game(unless there’re hiding a ton of game elements) it seems like there are obvious specific things you can interact with and things you can’t. So far it looks like a bunch of linear levels in a open world. Oh you made it to this section of the world? To progress you must become this cone and break this specific pipe. In odyssey there is some things like that but for the most part you can think of any plausible way to pass a scenario and it will usually work. Btw I’m still buying the Kirby game because it seems super fun, just not as great as Odyssey.

The fact that they’re remaking Live a Live AND releasing it in the West brings a tear to my eye. That game is a true hidden gem that so few outside of Japan have gotten to experience.

  5. RogersBase says:

That was legit one of the BEST PACED Nintendo Directs of all time. Barely any down time at ALL and SO MANY BANGERS. XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 3! MARIO KART DLC! FIRE EMBLEM WARRIORS THREE HOPES!
And, on top of all of that, the Wii Sports franchise, Chrono Cross, Live A Live, Mario Strikers, AND KLONOA all making comebacks too! SOOO GOOD.

The Switch library gets more amazing by the day! There’s just one hole in my collection: an art academy game 🙏

It makes me so happy that EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings finally have a chance to be played by so many new Switch players.
