It’s insane how much good stuff kirby fans are getting. The first ever 3D game, a cool spinoff, and now a remake of one of the most beloved games in the series!

    • Ender says:

It’s a lot of stuff, but not good stuff. Also the reason Kirby is being pushed so hard is because they’re co-owned by HAL, so HAL is always gonna push their mascot the same way Mario pushes Nintendo.

    • KyProRen says:

Did they really have to redesign Dedede though?
He was perfect as is, and yet for some reason they replaced it with his “N64/Club Penguin” look.
And imo, that look may have worked for the N64 era, but today it just makes him look weird.

Yea but why does dedede look like that 😭

A great year being a Kirby superfan!! but a terrible year (after man, many, many, many terrible years) for Donkey Kong superfans… EXCEPT FOR DIDDY KONG IN MARIO STRIKERS, THAT’S HYPE!!

DK and Kirby are probably my 2 favs from the main Nintendo roster

That “Story of Seasons” Wondeful Life reveal got me tearing up. I know nostalgia is such an easy cash grab for game studios to abuse but damn..

    • RuneDune G says:

it got me crying, it was such a big part of my childhood. Spoiler…………………..

Not looking forward to dying all over again thou

For not being much of a fan of other Nintendo genres, This gave me a boost!

  4. Jordan Tanner says:

Always excited to see what is on the horizon for Fire Emblem! Excited to give it a go! 🙂 As far as N64 Online goes, I wish that they would also give us Ogre Battle 64! Overall, this direct was pretty good!

  5. Jayman _ 20xx says:

This is possibly of the most jam packed directs I’ve seen in a while. I know many games are releasing next year, but I don’t know if I can keep up.

  6. Hostius 'As In Hostility' Hostilius says:

Direct starts at 29:35 for those of you who didn’t catch it live.

  7. VGMelodies says:

It was a very minor part of the direct, but I absolutely CALLED the fact that they’d use Merry Mountain from tour for the Booster Pass coming around Christmas this year! Also happy to see Peach Gardens, and hoping for something like Toad Factory/DK Summit (The remixes would be so good!), or more courses from Wii, since that one had such great tracks! A few other fun additions to see would be Mushroom City/Daisy Cruiser/Koopa Cape! There’s a lot of potential for great tracks in the coming passes; can’t wait!

My favorite announcements were “Pikmin 4” and “Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe”. I anticipate that those games will be great! 🌟

This was an amazing event, I almost scream at class when they revealed Tears of the Kingdom… What a name!

  10. EpicPhantom says:

For me the most interesting announcement was Kirby. Return to Dreamland was my first and favorite Kirby game. Not a big fan of them changing the artstyle but I can live with it. All the minigames might be fun. My biggest hope is that they add some new boss or difficulty option.
