This is cool if you don’t have a Switch, but I see no reason to get this if you have one already. I would’ve loved a hardware upgrade

This is why rumors are dangerous. Stay in school kids!

@Dave Lloyd He didn’t say ‘university’, he said ‘public school’. You’d think a college graduate would know the difference. Hmmmmm. Looks like he’s closer to the truth than he realizes.

      It is always bandit

    • ladykickz says:

@Dave Lloyd There’s a lot of reasons why people don’t go to Uni. Accessibility is one of them. I’m at Uni and I seriously doubt the intelligence of a lot of people there.

It’s why you avoid Nintendo click bait YouTubers

The school system in America is bs I spend 12 years and now I feel like dying and not at all pursing a career I lost all my creativity and I cant even form original ideas .
I at least I can contribute to society as a work drone hurrah for the WW2 school system we still use

  3. Bruce Awesomeperson says:

Halfway they just stop advertising the oled and film people playing docked mode.

    • dsproductions19 says:

@Eben Sirges 3rd party controllers for one, since drift is an issue…

    • 3l H4ck3r C0mf0r7 says:

@dsproductions19 The community supports both third-party controllers and Bluetooth audio, among several other quality-of-life features in hackable standard Switches running custom community firmware. Some members also upgraded their own systems to 256GB of internal memory by sheer power of engineering (actually replacing the Switch’s stock memory module with a compatible 256GB memory chip, and modifying the storage layout data to work for the new chip) And no, the internal Bluetooth audio and input latency is perfectly acceptable, as listening to Bluetooth headphones has been for years. Nintendo really has no excuse on this, and it’s unfortunate that current models are so much more difficult to run the objectively better firmware on.

@๖ۣۜ♥๖̶tacokitten๖̶ as far as I know it does 1080 docked.

    • ๖ۣۜ♥๖̶tacokitten๖̶ says:

@go away but not on the oled screen

    • y says:

  4. Kairi 65 says:

imagine how much nintendo laughed while reading the fake leaks

    • Dr. Pootis says:

@Aether The leakers basically made it out to have the same capabilities as the Xbox one x or ps4 pro. And for some reason almost everyone believed them.

    • Tasteful Joshua says:

      @VipCell_Tv that’s sus

    • skurasch says:

@Dr. Pootis it wouldn’t have been unreasonable if it did. Even if you modified the latest snapdragon from a phone to run at 15v you would see ps4 Pro performance. Had they used the latest nvidia soc it would have been on par with that, especially when you factor in architectural upgrades.

    • N8 says:

      Lol this brightened my day

  5. Jesse Horvath says:

the more i think about this, the less i want it. They could’ve very easily beefed it up under the hood, especially given the 50$ price increase. Here in Canada, this will retail for almost 500$. thats EXTREMELY steep for a simple screen upgrade and white dock.

    • kidrobot says:

for $50 more you wouldnt get an enough upgrade to warrent that

    • Mark Graham says:

@kidrobot Considering that the switch is running a 2013 phone processor, I think you could get an upgrade to a less old one for that amount.

    • Jesse Horvath says:

@kidrobot what they should’ve done is dropped the price of the original model, and made this one 299.99, since its just a re-skin of the same console with a few minor changes.
