“What’s a bad miracle?”

Oscar® winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and then Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, Nope.

The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.

Nope, which co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection), is written and directed by Jordan Peele and is produced by Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) and Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions. The film will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide.

    Can’t wait to see this!

Goddamn, Michael Wincott STILL has that voice, that prescence, what a great casting choice by Peele. As for the trailer, the “set ’em up, knock ’em dwn” tone changes from comedic beats swerving into awe and then terror are greatly appreciated. I love getting the rug pulled out from under, and I think this one’s ging to be a doozy.

This trailer had a different vibe than the others and I like it. I’ve been wanting a movie that balances horror and action in an even balance while maintaining a tone that isn’t completely depressing or too silly. It looks like this might hit a sweet spot.

This trailer gave us a lot. More than I expected to see. The first one was crazy good and didn’t tell us much

@roy battle lol ok? You’re still wrong

    • Blessings Bestowed says:

I feel like I saw the whole movie

@Some Dude From North Carolina one again again, there was no test screening…now if someone wants to make up a bit about seeing a test screening and leaking it, by all means have at it in you and that person’s fantasy land.I will say it for the third and final time..there has been no test screenings and won’t be any tests screenings.I have intimate , non made up knowledge that there’s no test screeners, screenings and from what I understand may not even have a screening for critics as most movies do a few days prior to release. So anyone can make up a lie about what they saw or did t see…I just know the studio has not allowed any screenings …Good day

    • Some Dude From North Carolina says:

@roy battle lol it’s a plot leak. Someone saw a test screening and shared it on Twitter.

  5. Jonny says:

*Keke Palmer is MEANT for this role! It’s going to be nice to see her in the big screen, she’s deserved this for a while*

  6. RJ Powell says:

Who else can’t wait to see this masterpiece?!🤯🙋🏽‍♂️

  7. Sleepy ツ says:

Now the motion posters make sense, Keke, Daniel, and Steven all looked away from the UFO. But Michael and Brandon didn’t, could be hinting at their fate with the whole “don’t look at it” thing, equally it could be the other way around.

  8. Mary Miranda says:

I’m happy that Keke is finally getting a big budget movie directed by a big name director where she not only gets to showcase her comedic talent but also her dramatic acting prowess! She deserves a really big break because she is talented as hell!

    • Stephen King says:

What about Lightyear? She’s in it too. Aren’t Pixar movies big budgets?

    • Daniel Strong says:

@MovieLingo maybe they don’t mean specifically this movie big budget because they are filming in a desert looking location and no explosions so budget would be lower but it is a big name both director and movie and this movie will be great. i thought get out and us were both 10/10 and this one is shot in imax so i will definitely be going opening weekend and seeing it imax

    • MovieLingo says:

She’s been doin that tho. Workin with big names And don’t forget Jordan loves the low budget lane. That’s what his production company was built for. This movie was not made for more than $20 million. That’s considered low budget. The budget doesn’t make the movie. there are many big films made on a low budget

  9. Bass and Treble 66 says:

As hype as I am for this movie this trailer felt like it’s an action movie instead of a suspenseful horror story like the first trailer made it out to be. Hopefully this one didn’t give away too much

  10. Rosie Quartzie says:

2:30 That “HELP ME!!!” really gave me chills. Can’t wait to see the movie!
