Bob’s Burger is the embodiment of so many wonderful things, one being the embodiment of childhood innocence and discovery. At one point I thought the show wouldn’t survive but its going strong now thankfully. I may actually visit a movie theater again and break my 3 year hiatus.

This feel like a mid-2000’s trailer and I absolutely mean that as a compliment.

One of the only adult animated families that actually love each other. Such family goals.

I love that the trailer didn’t completely spoil the plot like a majority of movie trailers do now. Also, love the animation. So fluid. Looks great! Can’t wait!

    • Sändy says:

What are you talking about? It completely tells you the plot. Bob will lose the restaurant in a week if he doesn’t make the payment. A giant hole appears right in front, blocking so many potential customers from entering thus even less change of making the one week payment. The kids investigate the hole. That is the plot.

    • not me says:

Knowing bobs burgers there might be no plot jk lmao

oh yeah, and all those scenes using obvious 3d models trying to appear 2d is definitely not a lazy hybrid of an already lazy art style.

    • LooneyCartoonMan2003 says:

2D animation is alive (especially hand-drawn animation)

  7. WeirdStuffCorp says:

I kinda want this movie to succeed cause I want to see the return of 2D animation in theaters

    • Juan Risa says:

@LooneyCartoonMan2003 No. It didn’t even made it to 100 million dollars at the box office, but MLP was actually considered a box office success, mainly because it was made with a budget of 6 million dollars. I’m just pointing out a low financial performance is not necessarily the same as a financial failure, that depends on the budget.

    • FANATIC PLANET Productions says:

As much as I too want to see this movie succeed financially, let’s not forget that on the same day, it’s going up against Top Gun: Maverick.

Nothing against Top Gun, I’ve been waiting for that movie to come out for, like, bloody forever but still, there’s a strong chance more people are going to pay to see that instead of this. But we’ll have to wait and see.

    • LooneyCartoonMan2003 says:

@WhiteDragonTile It is hand-drawn like the show.

    • LooneyCartoonMan2003 says:

@Green Bunny TNT MLP: The Movie 2017 is a financial success, but Teen Titans Go! to the Movies being of course a successful flash-animated movie.

  10. leslie beddingfield says:

As a 2D artist I applaud Disney & Fox for releasing a 2D movie when they could have gone with 3D which, seems to be the trend at the moment. I like the series. This looks like a fun movie.
