    • ♡Little fish♡ says:

Maybe untold story meant never written down but passed orally from generation to generation only in that society as with alot of the truth we are all discovering.. what’s in the books are often glossed over lies by those who dominates or rules that society. Im not saying all but there had been a few surprises and corrections in history based on new archaeological finds.

    • Tristan Holmes says:

i dont know about “untold”, i was taught this in school

    • Philip Gillespie says:

Most people in Scotland know about the Bruce and there always was a lot of written evidence from Scotland ,England and Europe from that time and later

    • Jack McConnell says:

Priyanker Rao but if it were untold, no one would know it ever happened

    • Anduril says:

“untold” is always the same as “this hasn’t ever been a major film before”. Though you certainly see that tagline thrown around on movies that are remakes and sequels/prequels but is a reinvention of a character, or has some extra minute details other movies on the subject never addressed.

Pretty sure they used “untold story” for a tagline on the Huntsman movie, even though Snow White has been done to death.

Heck they even threw it into the title when they made Dracula Untold.

I’m always amazed at how Chris Pine can completely transform himself in different roles. So here for this! Hell or High water was amazing

    • peachlily22 says:

I don’t mean just playing another nationality, I mean the variety of roles. For example, Toby in Hell or high Water to Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman

    • WhoDarestheMAN gamer says:

peachlily22 Sure… But he’s always been American till now.

American roles are easy. Once an actor branches out and goes for roles that require accent changes that is when an actor truly comes into their own.

    • WWSlimeyWimey says:

WhoDarestheMAN gamer he has always been an American but he did some accent work in Wonder Woman. In the car outside the nazi party he does of course do the comic over the top type German accent. But inside when he’s talking to Doc poison it’s not an over the top funny style accent at all. It’s a very credible well done German accent. That scene always impresses me. I like what I hear so far of his Scottish one too can’t wait for the film.

    • WhoDarestheMAN gamer says:

WWSlimeyWimey That’s what I’m saying… anyone can do American.

    • WWSlimeyWimey says:

WhoDarestheMAN gamer I’ve heard some rotten American accents as well. Lol but yes it’s easy enough most can do it easily. I was also agreeing with the op because he does embody his characters no matter if their American, they have all been quite different. Captain Kirk is a far cry from Hell or High waters Toby. And he’s already shown he can do accent work well. Yes it was just the one scene that we have seen so far but it was well done in WW and so far the Scottish sounds good too. I’m excited to see the entire film, it’ll be great to see him stretch out as an actor with not only the accent but the time period. He’s played relatively modern characters as well. But WWI is light years away from Robert the Bruce’s era.

Hell or High Water was a wonderful surprise; can’t wait to see this

Im an extra in this film! 🙂

I got chills when he yelled “so long as YOU FIGHT!”

  15. ScotchGaming. says:

Not gonna lie Normally when Americans try a Scottish accent it sounds like a Japanese cows just learned how to speak. But from the small bits we saw he sounds alright 👍🏻

  16. Walter Lopez says:

oh wow this is going to be in theaters… I guess Netflix has faith in this one.

  17. Fabian Rydel says:

Is that Stannis the Mannis I hear at 0:50?

Braveheart Dark and Gritty Reboot Edition!

    • Hitman604Actual says:

William Wallace and Robert of Bruce are not the same person.

Robert succeeded Wallace as a joint guardian of Scotland when Wallace resigned the position after he lost the battle of Falkirk, however he wasn’t appointed the position solely, it was a joint title that a rival of his, John Comyn was also given.

You can learn a lot about real history from reading about it. Instead of just mistakenly labelling something based on a Hollywood movie?

    • Jr Tomlin says:

No, he just infuriates me for his lies about Scottish history.

    • Hitman604Actual says:

Braveheart came out in 1995. Let it go, man.

    • Russ McKernan says:

      See above!

    • Marty Rea says:

The Bruce fought for 22 years against England and fought and won countless battles against them, and it wasn’t just England he was fighting, but half of Scotland also. Wallace fought only 2 battles, won 1 lost 1. Not a patch on Bruce and his great generals The Black Douglas and Thomas Randolph.

  19. Rowan J Coleman says:

Wow Chris Pine’s accent is pretty good.

  20. Seb Sandford says:

Chris Pine is so good 😊 with that Scottish accent.
