With that speed and movepool, Meowscarada is gonna be a crit machine, if you want to set it up that way. It also getting Play Rough by level up is insane and will give it a good way to check it’s Fighting weakness. I can’t wait to use this thing tomorrow.

    • Rolo Dwayne says:

@Nick Wuebker it only works once. you have to switch him out if you want to use it again to change to a diff type.

    • Matt says:

Honestly I kinda feel Fairy Tera for coverage or Dark tera is what I really think is gonna be nasty. Put up a Mirror herb Pokemon with baton pass and a move to buff Phyical then swap it inot Choice band Meowscarade who Dark Tera then Sucker punches. The Tera Type gives 3x stab Protein reduces weakness by removing grass type and since its a priority move you can use a plus physical attack nature instead of plus speed. Or run a normal speed and use play rough and a fairy tera for coverage.

    • Nick Wuebker says:

@Nicholas Louie For my first playthrough on Scarlet and Violet I’m thinking about running a Flower Trick/Night Slash/Play Rough/U-Turn set on Meowscarada.

    • Big Sis Luna says:

@Nick Wuebker dang. i guess it could have been really overpowered. i am not really into the competitive scene so i have no idea how it was used.

    • Ribotto Studios says:

@Chr15tian it has PROTEAN? Oh this is gonna be fun to test out for competitive

  2. Joey Johnson says:

Meowscarada is definitely the pick I’m going for. A guaranteed crit move that never misses is a huge deal I can just restart the game to get it with a nature that gives it better speed

Edit: also it has great defense coverage. Weak against ice, fire, flying and bug types but it can learn Power Gem which can counter those problems

  3. Shadowporygon says:

Meowscarada is my choice still despite the bad match-ups with types. I really do love the design as it reminds me of a mix between a cat, Dark Magician, and Tuxedo Mask.

  4. Nolan Hawks says:

I like the idea of the starters not being dramatically strong! Makes you more apt to use a diverse team

  5. ryan says:

fuecoco can learn slack off as an egg move, it’ll be great for stalling turns

  6. Timeless says:

Definitely going Sprigatito for my first play through of Pokemon Scarlet, but I’m still deciding between Fuecoco and Quaxly for my Violet play through. I really like the final evolutions compared to last gen, even though they have grown on me, I really like what they are doing this generation.

  7. Rose Gold Kat says:

I always look forward to your Pokemon videos 🙂 I definitely want Sprigatito. I like how fast they are and that Flower Trick is a guaranteed critical hit. I definitely prefer the 2nd evolution design but the final evolution is ok too 💚 Thanks for the informative video!

  8. Xander Frost says:

Love Meowsarada’s design. Could team it up with Delphox and make a magician and magician’s assistant kinda thing ❤

  9. TheDTrain88 says:

Watching this has confirmed my choice! I had almost no expectations for these guys so seeing them was cool. I couldnt wait until tomorrow haha. I might be in the minority here bit I do not think Skeledirge looks that cool but maybe that’s just seeing it on a small screen. I’m still choosing Sprigatito tomorrow and that middle evo might be one of my new favs

  10. Thoraxe The Impalor says:

I feel like Fuecocco will be excellent for a trick room team in competitive play. I think it’ll just be a juggernaut with an assault vest equipped. I’m so excited to use it
