OMG I love Chris Morocco! “I can’t believe anyone listened to me. I got here as soon as I heard!” LOL!
Next episode: Claire gets to go on paid vacation and choose an interesting exotic food to recreate on gourmet makes
Claire makes orders for pina coladas. ?
and brad
he deserves it
“Which do you want to try?”
“I don’t know, grape?”
Chris Morocco is a psychopath confirmed
you couldn’t tell by his eyes?
PIZZA ROLLS! They dont even have real cheese! That could actually get back to the name and give her a chance to really make something gourmet!!
YESSSSSSSSS
wait they don’t have real cheese????
This is the correct suggestion.
YESSS PIZZA ROLLS OR HOT POCKETS
THEY HAVE TO DO PIZZA ROLLS
Next Gourmet Makes: Pastry Chef Enjoys the Maldives
Pastry Chef Makes herself a cocktail in Fiji
@Theresa M If you want her happy go to the oreo episode
That would be nice
❤️❤️
Yes! She deserves a vacation!!
Hey Claire. Please make pop tarts. I know you could make them so much better.
SPOILER: Claire spilled the beans on her next 3 Gourmet Makes (including Pop Rocks) on The Ringer podcast.
Chris Murphy what are they?
@Chris Murphy spoiler for a youtube show, i bet you were one of the idiots who complained about infinity war and endgame spoilers 4 months after it came out
@guynumber20 lol chill guy number 20 ?
claire is so talented and we all love seeing her test her limits, but this was clearly an impossible task and seeing how upset she was to be making it was sad 🙁 please let her use her talent for recipes shes inspired by!! also, let claire travel for episodes- learning to make pastries in france or italy would be so cool!!
I don’t think anybody wanted poprocks at the cost of Claire’s sanity.
Kshitij Kumar yeah we didn’t ask for this one
I was today years old when I learned blue raspberry is a flavor mix of blueberry and raspberry not some mystical blue species of raspberry
Mind=blown! ???????
it actually comes from ‘whitebark raspberries’ its not actually a mix of blueberry and raspberry…it is quite literally, a different species of raspberry, but unfortunately, they’re not blue, they’re more purple.
HipsterTRAsh it’s not!
Oh god, tell me you didn’t-
like, I like to see Claire struggle, like working hard to climb a mountain and then WOW she gets to the top, not like handing her a shovel and directions through the earth to China.
love Claire, she’s so clever, works so hard, but BA, this one was a little cruel.
“Sounds dangerous” “I’m not comfortable doing that” “I don’t wanna do this, it’s a bad idea” “I feel not listened to”
I don’t want to seem too heavy handed, but those quotes are directly from Claire in the video and they really aren’t said for any sort of comedic effect. She was serious and these things made me not be able to finish the video.
Ths vibe of this video was totally off. I didn’t like seeing Claire trying to mask her obvious discomfort with the project for the sake of putting on a good show. We want to see her solve healthy realisitic challenges and feel satisfied and not slog through 2 days doing a project she feels uncomfortable or even unsafe doing. She should feel happy and not demoralized from having to make content she isn’t happt with just to satisfy BA staff/viewers.
Do better, BA!
I picked up on that vibe a few episodes ago, and it’s only gotten worse. In the starburst one, I think, she was having breakdowns and even mentioned to the camera “the parts I know you want to film (mental breakdowns), I don’t want to be on camera”. Since it gained fame, this series has started to take a turn (and it makes me so sad to see the difference in Claire), and it’s now feeling very exploitative.
I hope BA does better by their employee.
Agreed.
Raise your hand if you loved Claire enough to NOT ask for Pop Rocks 😉
I asked for pop rocks. Was not disappointed. I liked her ingenuity.
?️ hand raised!
@Nona39 You sound as if that’s something to be proud about
Jk
*hand touching ceiling*
“Do you want me to make a bomb? On the world trade center?” Damn Claire xD
Their office/kitchen is in the One World Trade Center. It wasn’t just a random statement. It would be literally that.
Bon Appetit’s title: *Pastry Chef Attempts to Make Gourmet Pop Rocks*
Reality: *Pastry Chef Attempts to Not Loose Her Sanity*
Claire: this should be easy (a 40min video)
Claire: I refuse to do this (a 20min video)
Next time…”gourmet pastry chef makes…herself a cup of tea and relaxs”
LionHeartZ this is the episode we all need
It hurts my heart to see Claire so demoralised from the beginning, it usually hits mid way through when the process is failing her – it like sucked all the optimism out of her ? our home girl still tried her best though ❤️ Edit: Chris also seemed genuinely upset she had to do it too
every day felt like day three this time
“How are you doing mentally?”
“Much better. I had lunch.”
Same, Claire. Same.
Come on guys, plEase give Claire a break! Gourmet makes going places? Just a vacation? Even just an easy gourmet makes?
