Snicker’s nougat is closer to a Swiss meringue than an Italian nougat. Use more egg whites and less sugar.

Claire is way too hard on herself. She could make a grilled cheese and it would still be entertaining.

Anyone want gourmet snickers just buy and eat the ones made in Europe. I don’t know what they do to them (I think they use real sugar instead of corn syrup) but they are less sweet and you can ACTUALLY taste the differentiation between the peanuts the caramel and the nougat and the chocolate is delicious. The Snickers in Europe are much better tasting…the ones in the U.S. just tastes so sweet and it’s not even an enjoyable sweet it’s just a too much kind of sweet.

    • Rainier M says:

As an american I had a problem with Australian chocolate being far too sweet, specifically Kit Kats, but generally most milk chocolate over there. Never had European candies however

    • Brendan2981 says:

Haha I live in Europe, I kinda like snickers but I find them waaaay too sweet… And you’re telling me yours are worse ? I should try them just for science…

    • Joshua Khan says:

European candy has never been sweet enough for me.

    • GUIMEL SIBINGO says:

The one’s in America are SO SWEET omg. The in your face kind of sweet lol.

    • Everson Bernardes says:

American food, in general, is way, way sweeter than usual. From chocolate to candy, to ketchup and ever burger patties seem to have a bunch of sugar added to them.
