the fact that they probably spent more money on getting pedro than the actual game is actually insane

I will never get over how perdo genuinely did an incredible job. It’s just a testament to how great of an actor he is.

  3. Wayhoo says:

The fact that they got Pedro into the lore of a facebook mom game is WILD

It’s so great to see Pedro finally getting cast in bigger roles. Maybe someday we’ll get to see him in a mainstream television program or something idk

  5. Tricks&Follies says:

Joel: “In order to catch a grandma, you need to think like a grandma”
Ellie: “Joel, what the fuck are you talking about?”

  6. Annie Oddo says:

Pedro seems like the kind of guy who would do a merge mansion ad just because he thought it would be funny

As someone who isn’t American, I’ve always wondered what it was like to have a grandma

As an european girl who lives with her grandma, apparently i dont

    • Leone Abbacchio says:

I’m half Filipino and both of my grandparents are still alive, so are my great grandma (grandma’s mom) and my great grandparents (grandpa’s parents)

the game developers must be huge fans of American culture 😍

    • The Cinematic Universe Traveler says:

I know this is supposed to be a joke but as someone who is both American and Canadian I don’t know what it’s like to have a grandma cause mine died when I was a kid and I didn’t get to know her that well since she had health issues and wasn’t physically capable of doing many things.

  8. Mendoza says:

honestly, so glad pedro is everywhere now. he deserves a lot of money just for existing.

edit: holy crap, some of u can’t take a joke lol

  9. Carol Juno says:

I feel like the people who made Merge Mansion actually wanted to have a production company but realised funding short films would be easier with the money from in app purchases in a bad game

  10. Cornelia Eriksson says:

As someone who has played Merge Mansion since long before I ever even saw the ads, the mystery element is in the game. But not only about whatever murder the grandma committed, but also just about their family in general. Like a random butler showing up once you’ve advanced far enough to open like a shed or something, and the grandma having a brother the granddaughter didn’t know existed.
And every time you get one step closer to maybe understanding what the hell is going on, grandma has to go because “her pie is done” or “the mailman is here” or something like that.

    • Lindsey Moon says:

Thats why I stopped playing lol. I found it forever ago randomly and got tired of playing for two minutes before having to wait hours to keep playing. I was invested in the story line though and also got irritated that the grandma was always like, “oh? A real question to further the plot? I have to plant a cake and bake a tulip.”
