I could cry in joy for the kids who get to grow up with this!!! The books raised me and I am so happy for a new generation of kids to get to have this story
Nyah not me I grew up with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings
@Christopher Michael Clarencesorry but Harry potter is getting a TV show, However HBO and JK Rowling ruined it by changing some things
@LEGOlas so’s lab JK ruined it already by being a transphobe lol what a sour taste to ruin the fond childhood memories of many
@heyitsmira You’re one of those…
“I was scared of dentists and dark” in the beginning still gives me chills every time
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversation
The goosebumps I got while watching this trailer. I remember being in middle school and my teacher reading the first book to us. I fell in love and not at 31 years old in four days. Im finally going to see this masterpieces brought to life the right way😊❤❤
What teacher reads to kids in middle school I wish our school did ts
0:15 only true Percy Jackson fans will know where this line came from. Truly a piece of art. From the series, hope it lives to the hype.
…the ending. Disney+ presents…
if I’m not wrong,this line is from Rhea about Hercules….if I’m not wrong…..read many 2-3years ago,sorry if I’m incorrect😅😅
What line are you talking about? The time stamp doesn’t really go to anything
@Ben perseus was the only hero that managed to have a happy ending- from the PJO books
That archery scene screams “lightning thief era percy jackson” in literally every single way, and i love it so much. It really washed away any anxiety i had about this show and lets me know it’s all gonna be great
When I was in 6th grade I walked into my house and on my kitchen table was a book. My mom said she saw it at the store and though I would like it. It was, obviously, “The Lightning Thief”. This book sent me on a journey of adolescent self discovery. Percy is the perfect roll model to have for a young boy. And years later, I get to watch this series that was so important to my development as a human be adapted into a faithful television show on Disney+. What a journey. I cannot wait to watch!
love tht for u!!
I’ve always thought this series would fit much better in a tv show format than a movie series. Can’t wait to see what this great cast comes up with!
Indeed it works well, there’s enough episodes to go through all the chapters
Plus it gives the actors time to grow into their roles, rather than casting Percy as a 25 year old haha
@Sophia Maxwell finally Percy is 12 as he should be! 😂😍
They came up with a different Annabeth than in the books. Welcome to Disney….
@Me as Riordan said when casting, it was about character and acting first and looks second
I only started reading these books recently and even then I almost teared up near the end, it looks like they actually did the first book justice
Finalmente vamos ver essa história da forma como ela merece ser contada em tela. Mal posso esperar para ver meu trio favorito e outros personagens que gosto apartir do dia 20 de dezembro 😭❤
This is exactly what i have always wanted. These books were my lifeline as a kid and i am so happy that a new generation gets to experience them.
